Hi John & All:
Without question, Henri deBeer is not a prophet of God.
I would like to first point out, however, that he seeks to mimic the Word of the living God, most specifically from the Book of Revelation. He spoke this word back on May 22nd, 2007, as part of a bigger prophecy:
Hear the word of the Lord Jesus Christ to the seven churches all over the earth. Grace and peace be unto all the saints. This word is to the point and no one can hinder the Great God Jehovah from executing judgment and righteousness on the earth. God has always judged sin and the profanity on the earth reaches unto the heavens.
Does it come off sounding vaguely familiar? It ought to, because it somewhat paraphrases the words of our Lord Jesus Christ in the first few verses found in chapter one of the Book of Revelation:
"The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave
unto him, to shew unto his servants things
which must shortly come to pass; and he
sent and signified it by his angel unto his
servant John
....
John to the seven churches which are in Asia:
Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which
is, and which was, and which is to come; and
from the seven Spirits which are before his throne."
- Revelation 1: 1, 4
It's something that I immediately noticed about Henri's prophecies, namely that they seek to gain validity and sound spiritual, by
mimicing God's Word. It's a fearful thing to add to the Word of the Living God, and here is what our Lord has to say about it:
"For I testify unto every man that heareth the
words of the prophecy of this book, If any
man shall add unto these things, God shall
add unto him the plagues that are written
in this book."
- Revelation 22: 18
I'd be fairly worried about listening to someone who alledgedly proclaims to have direct revelations from God, that run contrary to His Word. God never acts in violation of His own Word, for to do so would be to deny Himself.
On June 4th, 2007, Henri spoke another very long prophetic word, which is alledged to have come from the mouth of the Living God. In its conclusion it very clearly states:
This week I am going to show Myself strong says the Lord of heavens host. I am going to shake the earth with three signs from heaven so that you will know that it [God's judgment] has begun. When you see these
three signs, look up for your redemption is at hand ...... I have spoken and I will do it. The devil will try to stop this from happening but I have a surprise for him. So be anxious for nothing and go into the highways and byways and bring the hurting and the lost into the Kingdom of My dear Son.
I am surprised nobody seems to have noticed it, but this is another way that God never acts -- He doesn't speak with uncertainty, like some gypsy staring nervously into a crystal ball or reading tea leaves. What makes God the
one and only Living God, is His ability to know the end from the beginning:
"I have declared the former things from the
beginning; and they went forth out of my
mouth, and I shewed them; I did them
suddenly, and they came to pass ...
I have even from the beginning declared it
to thee; before it came to pass I shewed
it to thee ..."
- Isaiah 48: 3, 5
In yet another place, God declares in His Word:
"I am the LORD: that is my name: and my
glory will I not give to another; neither my
praise to graven images.
Behold, the former things are come to pass,
and new things do I declare: before they
spring forth I tell you of
them."
- Isaiah 42: 8-9
Nowhere in the Bible does God ever speak a prophesy, without giving out the actual details of what is going to come to pass. It's not only how we can know that the Lord is God, namely by when those events come to pass, but also how we are able to differentiate from those who seek to deceive us.
"But the prophet which shall presume to
speak a word in my name, which I have
not commanded him to
speak, or that
shall speak in the name of other gods,
even that prophet shall die.
And if thou say in thine heart, How shall
we know the word which the LORD hath
not spoken?
When a prophet speaketh in the name of
the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come
to pass, that is the thing which the LORD
hath not spoken, but the prophet hath
spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt
not be afraid of him."
- Deuteronomy 18: 20-22
Furthermore God challenges those false prophets to declare the end from the beginning, as He alone can do:
"Produce your cause, saith the LORD;
bring forth your strong reasons, saith
the
King of Jacob.
Let them bring forth, and shew us what
shall happen: let them shew the former
things, what they be, that we may consider
them, and know the latter end of them;
or declare us things for to come.
Shew the things that are to come hereafter,
that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do
good, or do evil, that we may be
dismayed,
and behold it together."
- Isaiah 41: 21-23
There are only two choices in God's litmus test:
1.) If the prophecy comes to pass -- it's from God.
2.) If the prophecy fails to come to pass -- it's not from God.
There is no "Jonah Option" in the equation. If you listen to some
Christians, nearly every false prophet might be having a Jonah experience. If that's the case, shouldn't we at least wait to see if he gets swallowed by a whale first? That would certainly make me a believer.
By the way, God holds supporters of false prophets as guilty as those false prophets themselves. In the very next verse it is written:
"Behold, ye [ false prophets ] are of nothing,
and your work of nought: an abomination
is he that chooseth you."
- Isaiah 41: 24
Finally, Henri has openly claimed to have received these prophetic words from an angel, as has been reposted here from the Heaven Is So Real site:
What I do know is that the Lord has sent me an angel to confirm these messages to me and instructs me what to do with it. Therefore I am sure that this is the truth. The last thing in the world that I want to do is to misrepresent my Lord. I would rather die.
Well assuming Henri is sincere, then he needs to repent immediately. It is obvious that this angel is but a demonic spirit which has somehow gained access into his life via some open door. Perhaps it is either the demonically influenced book written by Choo Thomas (a strong possibility), or else from the Thomas website itself.
My advice to Henri is to first get rid of the book. Secondly to avoid visiting the Choo Thomas website. Thirdly, get on your knees and cry out to God for His forgiveness, and if you haven't done
so ask Jesus Christ to come into your life and wash you clean in His Blood. Then get into a good Bible believing church and surround yourself with some strong believers. The next time that demonic angel appears, tell him that you do not receive him, and that you plead the Blood of Jesus Christ between you and him. The Bible says that if you resist the devil he will flee from you.
I will be praying for you, Henri.
See ya in the air,
Eric
