"Six compared to seven paints a prophetic picture  Part One"

Six compared to seven paints a prophetic picture  Part One

When I started researching the number 6 in the Bible and compared it to the number 7,I felt a sense of comfort inside of me because God makes such a drastic distinction as He goes out of His way to compare the two in His Word. I am not just looking for basic clues but distinctive facts verified in the Bible to show me that we are close to the rapture of the church. I believe by the time you get finished with these 2 articles you will be convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that the return of Jesus Christ is at hand. As this article progresses, I will show you two remarkable examples in the comparison of 6 and 7.

The first will be the 6000th verse of the Bible. There is another truth in the Word of God where there is a distinction between 6 and 7 in foods. Six different types of foods are mentioned in one context which describes or better yet symbolizes the world in its' sin and ruin. The other example in contrast (seven) is listing various foods describing the Kingdom of God.I am going to show just why the Psalms are positioned at this point for God to fulfill His prophetic plan.

This will be very joyful for those who are watching for the rapture and an eye opener for those that are not even looking for any of these events. The 6 is going to advance to a 7 very soon. For those of you that have no idea as to what I am talking about, feel free to continue reading and allow the love and hope of Jesus Christ to permeate your being. Perhaps this will prod us to do any last minute laboring for the kingdom of heaven. Maybe quiet time before God in our judgment may be necessary before our Faithful Lord for a sense of closure in our lives. We may need to get settled before God. If you don't know Jesus Christ as your Savior, now would be the time to accept Him into your heart before the rapture takes place. We are very close.

What I find remarkable is even early theologians recognized this idea or principle thousands of years ago. When I wrote my last article (Six,sin and 6000 years of world kingdoms), I mentioned some of those writers who vividly described 6000 years of world kingdoms with the Messiah ruling in the seventh millennium.

Nobody knows every specific detail on this subject but how could anyone miss the basic idea? If you are a true believer in Jesus Christ and have a basic grasp on just how close we are to the rapture of the church, there would have to be some kind of excitement at the expectation of meeting Jesus Christ face to face. It is at this point that we will be able to really understand the finished work of Jesus Christ in us, rest in Him, be blessed, sanctified and reflect upon all that God did for us. This will be representative of the seventh millennium because all these things that I just mentioned describe all that God did on the seventh day of creation. This represents our rest in Him, not only in a personal way but prophetically in Jesus Christ during the seventh millennium of human history in our new resurrected bodies.

The Bible makes all kinds of distinctions between 6 and 7. I would like to give you fresh new examples on how they are compared against one another. I know this is a strange way to phrase something ( compared against one another ) but that is what God does throughout Scripture with the number 6 and 7. I am going to be showing you examples, comparisons, and distinctions that probably will be new in insight and content. I am confident that you will be able to understand the simplicity of what I am saying.

Joshua is the sixth book of the Bible. I notice tones of the sixth and seventh millennium in this account of Scripture. If one were to count from Genesis chapter 1:1, 6000 verses in the King James Version, then he or she would arrive at Joshua 4:4. This verse says, "Then Joshua called the twelve men, whom he had prepared of the children of Israel, out of every tribe a man." Anybody that knows anything about end time Bible prophecy probably understands that in Revelation chapter 7:4, the Bible says "And I heard the number of them which were sealed:a hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel." The next verses in the book of Revelation lists the 12 tribes. For the longest while I have believed that this appointment of the 144,000 would happen right around that 6000 year point. It is in the 6000th verse of the Bible. I am not saying  there is not any mystery to this whole thing, I am asking a question. Is it a coincidence that Joshua 4:4 is the 6000th verse of the Bible?

What I find remarkable about verse number 6000 in Joshua 4:4 is that the person doing the appointing centers around the man Joshua. He is doing the choosing just like Jesus Christ will select the 144,000 from the twelve tribes of Israel.

This juxtaposition is exciting in Scripture because Joshua is a type of Jesus Christ. The Hebrew origin of the name Joshua means God saves. His original name was Hoshea (Det.32:44) later changed to Joshua (Numbers 13:16). Joshua has long been regarded as a type of Jesus Christ because of his name. When Moses changed Hoshea's name to Joshua, it could be spelled Jesoshua. In Matthew 1:1,that is the way Jesus Christ is spelled in the Hebrew or Greek. Same name. He brought the people into possession of the promised land. There were victories and defeats but here is one of the keys to understanding what I am trying to portray to you. God did not break His promises. Ancient Israel did not entirely obey God to occupy what He desired for them in the way that He wanted them to do it. Jesus Christ will do the same but He will fully succeed.

Moses dealt with the law and Joshua succeeded him, becoming a type of Jesus Christ. The Gospel was introduced after the Law. Jesus Christ came to this planet and spoke of His saving grace through Him. This is just another piece of evidence or a clue that our Lord Jesus Christ is just about to take action through His judgment and set up His Kingdom on planet earth because of where this verse is juxtapositioned in Scripture.

Do you see the transition and distinction as one looks at the principle of six and seven? If not let me get far more detailed as I explain this example more specifically and show you some more illustrations in Scripture that will no doubt become crystal clear in this precept that I am trying to convey. If I am correct on what I am attempting to portray then there is no doubt in my mind that the appearance of our Messiah will be revealed very soon. This is great news in such a sad world.

You have to understand how significant Joshua 4:4 is for the 6000th verse of the Bible. The book has a theme of conquests, ultimately for the purpose of possessing the promised land. Israel crossing the Jordan was the first step in this process under Joshua (a type of Jesus Christ).

It was at this point that Israel was ready to possess that special selected land that God so desired for them. For anybody to understand what I am saying, he or she would have to grasp the order by which these events transpired.

The reason why the 6000th verse justapostioned in the Bible is so perfect to me is because God will restart His prophetic program where Israel failed.Once again let me repeat myself. God kept His promise but Israel did not succeed because they did not obey. Our Lord Jesus Christ is not finished with His plan for Israel. He will have to appoint 144,000 Jewish men from the twelve tribes of Israel to continue where He left off under Joshua (a type of Jesus Christ) to fulfill His promise for Israel. This will be fulfilled at the end of 6000 years (starting with intense tribulation) into the seventh for the purpose of Israel possessing the promised land in peace during the millennial kingdom of Jesus Christ. Of course I can not say this will be exact but once again the general principle is seen.

The principle is so intriguing regarding the 6000th verse of the Bible and all that surrounds this passage because of the way the story progresses. Joshua 4:4 (the 6000th verse) starts with Joshua (a type of Jesus Christ) calling the twelve men out of every tribe which is a foreshadowing of Jesus Christ sealing the 144,000 ... "of all the tribes of the children of Israel."Revelation 7:4. From the foreshadowing of Joshua to Jesus Christ. They are performing the same role but look at the progression in the book of Joshua. In Joshua chapter 6 the children of Israel walked around the city of Jericho for six days. This was right before the walls fell on the seventh. From active labor (walking for 6 days) to God taking action on the seventh day. This is a picture of the Holy Spirit through the 6000th verse of the Bible (comparing 6 to 7) describing end time Bible prophecy for this very generation.

I certainly hope you enjoyed Part One of this very exciting subject showing how exact God is regarding His biblical numeric system that He designed so perfectly. More than likely you are sensing how close we really are to the return of Jesus Christ. The most important reality in our own personal lives is to be ready at any moment for the rapture of the church. Part Two will come out tomorrow. This is when and where I get far more specific as to why we are very close to the rapture and return of Jesus Christ. Have a nice day/night wherever you are.
