There's something that I noticed quite awhile ago because I always have been facinated by Daniel. I will get to that in a moment, for starters I read the 5 doves most every day, however I don't read every post just what intrigues me at the time, but I usually read references to Daniel and Revelation.

 

To paraphrase what someone said once: sometimes when we read the bible we can read over the same scripture and then one day while we're reading the Holy Spirit brings revelation and we "see" that scripture or notice something about that scripture that we never knew before, this is just one way God reveals himself to us (I say reveals himself to us because He is the Word)

Here's just an observation an opinion : I find it amazing that God told Nebuchadnezzar or showed him in a dream what was going to happen from Nebuchadnezzar's time right up to the very end( where eternity starts) remember Nebby's dream didn't end with the Roman empire 1000-2000 yrs. ago it ended with this verse 2:44...God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people;(and that is still in the future)

so my observation is simply that when reading about Daniel 7,8,9 and Revelation don't forget that God gave one of the most important dreams recorded in scripture to a gentile king named Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel chapter 2

One day while reading Dan.2 I notice that in the description of the great image which is listed from head to toe in descending order, that Daniel at the end of the intrepretation switches the order of the elements( this was done deliberatelywhy I don't know) first notice the order gold,silver, bronze, iron, iron and clay, then notice verse 45 here it is "Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold..."

Daniel speaks of the elements and reverses the order ( no problem with that,but,) when reversing the order he switches the order of the elements notice: iron,bronze clay, silver, gold

I have never heard anybody speak of this before and I've never been told why this happened i'm sure this is no misprint, there is a reason but I don't know why.

another thing I noticed was in Dan 7 ( this is getting too long so i'll make it short) notice Daniel describes the 4th beast and says iron teeth and in the intrepretation (verse 19)

¹⁹"Then I wished to know the truth about the fourth beast, which was different from all the others, exceedingly dreadful, with its teeth of iron and its nails of bronze, which devoured, broke in pieces, and trampled the residue with its feet;

^{Daniel adds in this description something not mentioned in the dream previously and that is nail of bronze.}

^{Once again we see bronze this time its added to the description of the dream, I find it interesting that in 2 places where dreams are talking about end time events}

^{that we see in one dream the order of the elements rearranged and in the other dream more information is provided and that information is also the same as the first dream that being bronze.}
