Gaza's depends on Israel's kindnesss
Most readers are probably unaware of the fact that the Gaza Strip, with its 1.4 million Palestinians, is entirely dependant upon Israel's generosity and supply of fuel, electricity, food and water for its survival, even while remaining a hostile territory governed by a terror organization. Consequently, the plan being considered by Israel at present includes complete severance of ties with the Gaza Strip; isolating it from the (more moderate) West Bank (Judea and Samaria); retaliating against Gaza for the continual Kassam rocket attacks on Israeli southern communities (250 rockets launched during the last two weeks alone); cancellation of Palestinian prisoners' visitation rights until the kidnapped Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit in Gaza is released; cancellation of Gazan work permits in Israel; cessation of transfer of goods and resources; and the closing of all border crossings. In short, according to this realistic plan, the Gazans will have to find their own solutions to fuel, food, water, and electricity, all presently supplied by and through Israel even as you read these lines.Watch and pray as this welfare population may be handed over to the international community to care for and negotiate with. Do you want your tax dollars to fund this endless Palestinian dysfunction?
