Is there a link between recent developments in South Africa and the 40th anniversary of the six day war?
 
South Africa and Israel were allies for many years, most notably in their nuclear weapons development. The nationalist party came to power in 1948.
 
I don't pretend to understand South Africa well enough to know the spiritual roots of the link between the countries. However but I find it interesting that potentially serious trouble breaks out in South Africa just as we are approaching the 40th anniversary of the Six Day War. This is a time which many believers think is very significant in relations to God's purposes in the events leading up to the Lord's return.
 
I am also reminded of the old woman from Valdres in Norway who prophesied that "The Third World War will begin in a way no one would have anticipated - and from an unexpected place." If that was a genuine word from the Lord, then we need to be watching not just the most obvious flashpoints.
