…waiting and watching to see what happens…waiting for that day God has known since the beginning of time :)

I don’t want to jump past Pentecost…waiting to see, but I did have another thought as I was pondering and praying for the day God has promised

Many mentions of the rapture involve the “whirl wind” and I can’t help but notice the Hurricanes in the news.  So much talk about New Orleans and Katrina from last year and here we start again.  We made it all the way through the names last year and began the Greek names with “Alpha” (as in Alpha & Omega?). 

I thought I would pull up all the names which I’ve done before and posted on this site (from last year as well).

As I was looking through them I decided to separate the male and female names.  If you take them out of the list and put them together they look like this:

Male names in yellow, female in white:

Male name meanings:  Noble/Bright, Anointed follower of Christ, Earnest/Sincere, Noble/Proud, He who laughs, from the Church, Who is like God, Deer Lover, God has healed, Worthy of Praise, Desiring Protector

Female name meanings:  Pale Green Gem, Honey Bee, Flourishing/Blooming/Prosperous, Torch, Lord, Small Meadow/Garden by the Pool, Hope, Noble, Protector of Mankind, Strength, Valor

I feel like I get a message in the meanings of these names.  The male names describing the person and type of character that God would select (not that God would only select males, simply following a pattern and trying to make sense of it). 

The female names describing the place that God would take us to (Paradise/Garden).

I’d like to highlight a couple of names; most are self explanatory, so I won’t comment on them:

Male name meanings:  He who laughs (joy, positive attitude, contentment in all circumstances), Deer Lover – if you have read the Song of Songs and know it’s relation to the Rapture this should make sense.

Female name meanings:  Pale Green Gem (Emerald around God’s throne see Revelation), Torch & Lord (see John’s description of Jesus in Revelation).

I think all the rest make sense.  If this has any meaning – I don’t know simply praying, looking and searching & most of all Loving God, and longing for him and that day.

Also, since we are the Church and were born on Pentecost maybe something will happen between Pentecost and when the Jewish feast start up again in the fall (when God turns his attention again to his nation of Israel in the last times).
