Occam's razor states that the explanation of any
phenomenon
should make as few assumptions as possible, eliminating those that make
no difference in the observable predictions of the explanatory hypothesis
or theory.
The principle is often expressed in Latin
as:
- entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem,
which translates to:
- entities should not be multiplied beyond necessity.
Furthermore, when multiple competing theories have equal
predictive
powers, the principle recommends selecting those that introduce the
fewest assumptions and postulate the fewest hypothetical entities. It
is in this sense that Occam's razor is usually understood.
So, we have seen many well-thought-out guesses at "when"
is the rapture. But, maybe, just maybe.....it's THIS simple:
Take 40 years (40 actual years....of 365 days) and go
forward from the recapture of Jerusalem, but NOT the re-taking of the
Temple Mount......and you get the Rapture in (or around) June 6, 2007.
I really liked and agreed with the idea that the Jews
were made to wander for 40 years after leaving Egypt because they did
NOT go into the promised land when they got there...you know the story.
And the comparison has been made, as you know, that the Jews in 1967 did
NOT take over the Temple Mount because they thought the world would not
stand for it. In BOTH cases, the Jews did not do what God would
have them do.
If the speculation for dates this fall does not come
to pass........then next year in early June, WILL BE the next big date
to look for. Could it be THIS simple ???
Hmmmmmmmmm fyi, Pentecost in 2007 is May 27 and Easter is April
8
Personally, this fall is just FINE with me......and
the case was made yesterday in Jim's post about 14,400 days from the recapture
of Jerusalem leads us to Nov 8, 2006. Either way....it all seems
so very, very close!!
