John, I have been intending to say thank you for quite a while, because you have blessed me so much with your writing.  I don't know what you do for a living, but you really have a gift of expression using our English language!  Whatever happens tomorrow, wanted you to know that I have appreciated what you have done.  If we don't go, I'll still be on your team!
