To Anthony
 
I don't know how old you are Anthony, but at 55, I have come to the point of seeing some patterns in my life....in the way people relate to me and I to them.  Since there is no common connection but ME...I must acknowledge that I have some responsibility in the way people react to ME!  I am of a certain personality type and predispostion that I am born with to a great extent and I can only partially change that by tempering it with the Holy Spirit within me.  There are personalities that seem to draw others and energize them and others that don't have that effect.  There is a purpose for each personality when led by the Lord.  People, especially in our fastpaced culture, are limited in the time and energy they have to spend and are naturally going to  relate to what and who make them feel happy...which may eliminate some of us!!
I have come to the point of not trying to be who I can't and be content in the "place" I am...I can never be another personality type and as I accept my limitations AND giftings, I become more comfortable with myself.... and those around me don't feel pressured to meet my NEEDS.  Only God can do that.
