Hello,
Well, the time is upon us already!  Our daughter Lauren leaves for her summer exchange(4-H/Labo) in Japan very soon. Dennis & I will drive her down to San Francisco on Wednesday, June 14th, and she will fly non-stop to Tokyo about 11:30 am on Thursday, June 15th.  She will spend three weeks in Tokyo with the Shimoishikawa family, and go to language school.  Lauren is hoping to visit with her penpal, Nanae Mori, while she is in Tokyo.   She will then travel to Kumamoto(on the southern island of Kyushu) to stay with the Oku family. Lauren will be celebrating her 16th birthday, July 9th, while she is there.  Please pray for her health and safety while she is on her trip, and that she will have a marvelous adventure.  She will be returning to the U.S. on August 10th. She is taking copies of the "Jesus" film in Japanese to share with her host families.  Pray that goes well, and that the Holy Spirit continues his work.
Oh...pray for Dennis & I...the house will be VERY quiet for a few months.
