"question for the doves...."

Dear John and Doves,
My name is Kristy Bridges, and I've never posted any letters here before. I have however lurked for more than a year now, and recieve so many blessing from this site! I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to being able to quote bible verses, and most of you amaze me at the amount of knowledge you have concerning the word of our Lord. I read as much as I can concerning bible prophecy as I know like all of you that we are indeed in the end times. As much reading as I try to do I do get confused from time to time with so many different interpretations of what God's word says. Such as the timing of the rapture and whether Daniel's 70th week has already begun. I myself believe in a pretrib rapture of the church, and am of the mindset that Daniel's 70th week doesn't begin until the antichrist signs the covenant with the many. With that being said my question to the doves is this. How can the 70th week of Daniel already be half over if the antichrist hasn't yet confirmed the covenant with the many?  If i'm not mistaken and trust me I very well could be, but I believe that it has been on 5 doves the argument that Daniel's 70th week begun when Jesus was baptized. If this was the case then why did Daniel say the following??

Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

25Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

24"Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place.[c] 25Know therefore and understand that from the going out of the word to restore and build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks. Then for sixty-two weeks it shall be built again with squares and moat, but in a troubled time. 26And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its[d] end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war. Desolations are decreed. 27And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator."

I was always taught that the tribulation doesn't start until the antichrist signs the covenant with Israel, and the many for one week ( 7 years) of 360 days each. I'm not good with all the adding of the days and such. Could any of you help me to understand all of this? Am I just misunderstanding what Daniel is saying here about the 7 years? I'll close this for now, and wait to see if you wonderful children of God can help out your confused sister over here:) God Bless you all!!
