Dear Peggy,
I wanted to let you know that I will be praying for you, dear sis, about the smoking and also wanted to share a vision the Lord gave me in January.  He showed me a person who was praying/pleading for release from an addiction while other members of the Body of Christ were standing around quoting various verses from scripture (which the person already knew intimately) The Lord showed me the person's heart, (which He loved) and it was tender and willing, seeking and desperate and then He showed me the hearts of the people around him.  Their hearts were full of self righteous condemnation and judgement.  More than anything, they wanted that person to put down his flesh by his own will power. Misery loves company.
In the next part of the vision, the Lord showed me the person standing, this time with one person on either side of him, holding his arms up. (like Moses) When the Lord showed me this, He spoke to my spirit and said, "I have given everyone something that they cannot do for themselves, that only others in the Body, coming alongside in prayer and fasting can accomplish."
In the last part of the vision, I saw a wine bottle, heard a loud pop and saw the cork fly out of the neck, leaving a trail of smoky vapour behind it.  I believe it symbolized release and New Wine.  I don't believe the Lord is offended by you Peggy.  I've read your site many times.  I know your heart.  Don't be tempted to do this in your own strength.  Let us hold up your arms.  Relax.  Remember: "Not by might, nor by power but by my Spirit, sayeth the Lord".  That thing's just going to drop off.  In the meantime, just stay focused on Him.  Kathryn LeCorre
