"Jesus said, 'As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the son of man.'  The days of Noah would end when Noah died. Noah died 2006 years from the date of the sin of Adam. From the sin of Adam to the flood was 1656 years.  Noah lived 950 years, and the flood came when he was 600. So subtract 600 from 950 and it leaves 350 years. Thus, add 350 to 1656 and we get 2006."
