Re: GOWILDWEST (28 June 2005), Rapture Puzzle SOLVED ! (?) It all points to Oct 4, 2005 Rosh Hashanahhttp://www.fivedoves.com/letters/june2005/gowildwest628.htm
It is always encouraging to watch others excited about and watching for the return of Our Lord and Savior. Just wanted to make known a few things that could point to watching Oct 5, 2005, the last day of the two day celebration of Rosh Hashanah when the last trumpet is blown of the celebration, instead of Oct 4, 2005.
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. I Corinthians 15:52
And in the long run if it is one day on one side of the earth one could argue that it was the previous day on the other. And I realize GOWILDWEST is referring to previous posts for various information. Still note:
1. May 5, 2005 + 153 days = October 5, 2005 not October 4, 2005. (Using a spreadsheet enter the date May 5, 2005 in a cell. In another cell put the reference to that cell plus 153, i.e. =A1+153. One gets October 5, 2005.)
2. And it is true that June 6, 1967 + 14,000 days = October 4, 2005 as you noted. However, the parallel to the nation of Israel receiving and then rejecting something would not be to June 6, 1967, but the next day June 7, 1967. Note the nation of Israel went to the promised land after leaving Egypt and then rejected it, followed by a believed 14,000 days of wandering in the wilderness. And the nation of Israel received the Messiah and then rejected him, followed by a believed 14,000 days till not one stone was left upon another of the temple, when it was destroyed in fulfillment of Jesus' words. And likewise, the nation of Israel regained Jerusalem and the temple mount, on June 7, 1967, and then rejected the temple mount, giving it back.
What is also of interest is if one starts at the spring equinox in 32 AD and adds 50 sets of 14,000 days, (700,000 days), one ends up at right at Rosh Hashana in 1948 which is the beginning of Israel's first year as a modern nation and parallels 2005 with the first day of Rosh Hashana being on October 4th and the second being on October 5th. I have not carried out this calculation with sufficient accuracy to tell whether this 700,000th day falls on Oct 4, 1948 or Oct 5, 1948.
But back to October 5, 2005. There are other reasons to consider this day also because of the association of the number 5 with the rapture. We have 5+5 months plus 5 days in the 5th year of the 2nd millenium. And while 5/5/05 points us to the rapture it also points us to 10/5/05 because it is exactly 5 months after 5/5/05 besides 153 days.
Reference material on watching 5/5/05 as posted on 5 Doves was http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/mar2005/tedp330.htm. And the book "Passion, Power, & Glory" published last year and made available early this year as a free e-book discusses watching both 5/5/05 and 10/5/05 for the rapture. The reference to the 153 days between 5/5/05 and 10/5/05 can be found on page 140. Other reasons to watch 10/5/05 along with calculations regarding 11/11/05, 11/14/05, 4/11/12, and 9/23/15 are also included.
Shalom!
