Most of 'em did say that the PLO was invented in either May or June of 1964 which would still be over 40 years, and it was just a tiny bit past the 40 year mark (if you use that date) when Arafat died, Nov. of last year. One site I went to said that a group of "refugees, and palestinians" met in May to form the PLO, in Jerusalem. Another site said it was a group of 422, and included Kings and other important folk from the Arab League.

One site said it was invented in Egypt by Egyptian President Gamal Abdul Nasser, another said it was created, and ruled over by Ahmad Shuqeiri. You'll find a bunch of sites that say various folks started it, and then in 1968 or 1969, Arafat became the President. Then again, if you go to www.islamonline.net they say that Arafat became the head of the PLO in 1965. LOL, see what I mean by the differences in accounts?

Anyway, from all the stuff I read, I wondered if perhaps they met in 1964 to formulate their ideas, but the thing didn't actually "KICK OFF" until January 1st, 1965 when the ATTACKS BEGAN under the PLO umbrella. Therefore, I chose to stick with the date given in the News Archive on the Middle East by the folks at Edwards Air Force Base. See their quote once again below:

"1965-1967: Arab nationalism was born again with the establishment of the Palestine Liberation Organization on Jan. 1, 1965. The Palestine "revolution" - the redemption of an Arab Palestine - began."

As you can see from the following (see below) quote, taken from the same site (EAFB) mentioned above, the Arab nations around Israel, as usual, were busy fighting amongst themselves. As they say below (after years of trying to be rid of Israel) "Arab unity was nonexistent".

"Iraq developed a bitter rivalry with Egypt. The Syrians resented Egypt's authoritarianism, and the Saudis and Yemenites resisted Egypt's socialism. By 1961, when Syria seceded from the U.A.R., Arab unity was nonexistent."

So, Israel had been hit by the Arabs in war already, and the ARABS FAILED. Israelis have been "attacked" by various foes since her beginnings. BUT, what I found interesting was that God had, in the past, RAISED UP (allowed by sin) the Philistines to be a snare to the Israelites FOR FORTY YEARS. At that point, Samson came on the scene to mark the NEW CHANGE, a new direction for Israel. (Judges 13:1) In the same way, here comes this "PLO" RAISED UP FOR NO OTHER PURPOSE THAN TO DESTROY ISRAEL (read their charter) and the PLO has been a "thorn in the side of Israel" ever since. And when folks think of the PLO, they think of ARAFAT! In "that sense", he IS the Father of the PLO. Even now, we have Abu Mazen as the new Chairman of the PLO, and look at him. The terrorists have no respect for him, and his power base is crumbling. Our sis Miriam, and others, have posted articles at this forum stating that Mr. Mazen is losing his grip on his government and it is falling apart.

"The conflict [between Palestinians & Jews--added by me] does not stem from oppression and is not territorial. The OSLO agreement granted the PLO unprecedented hope, brought it back from oblivion, provided it with territory and legitimacy -- and therefore led to unprecedented terrorism."

So you see folks, how even when the PLO was starting to wither and die, it was BROUGHT BACK to life by the OSLO TREATY in 1993? This 12 year time frame fits the time frame of the "woman with the issue of blood" that Pastor Riley has taught on before, as well as others.

NONE OF THIS IS BY CHANCE. GOD FORBID. As Miriam says, we serve a God of ORDER, and He has a PURPOSE for allowing this enemy of Israel to arise. The PLO has been a horrible evil to the Israelis for years and years. I'm 48 and I can't remember a time when the PLO wasn't involved with killing someone. How many Israelis have buried babies, and other loved ones who died at the hands of Arafat and his PLO?

And now, at this very time in Israel, we have a small group of religious settlers taking a stand and saying enough is enough. Calling on God to deliver them, and send the Messiah. This is the perfect "lead in" for the coming War (Sudden Destruction) that will bring on the FAKE messiah to supposedly bring peace to the Middle East.

Arafat DIED ON 11/11, 2004. Remember how rumors went wild that he actually died a few days before? There were jokes on the net because everyone was wondering when he "really" died. But the official DATE is 11/11. And now the PLO is starting to crumble again because Mazen isn't Arafat. A "crumbling" entity will strike because it knows it is on it's last hurrah. Confusion reigns then. And out of the coming mass of confusion, and war, that will LOOK (to the sleepers of the world) as if Armageddon has occured, will ARISE the AC to bring his false peace and safety.

After our Merciful Eternal showed me these things I found out that our brother Dave Hunt has a brand new book out. It's called JUDGMENT DAY!! I just bought it yesterday, and have only read through chapter four, but WOW! It is about the coming BLOW OUT between Israel, Islam and the Nations. I'd like to quote a few things that may help you see how huge this all is.

"In spite of the Palestine Liberation Organization's obvious duplicity, Israel has continued to turn over territory to them, literally staging its own destruction, as the Hebrew prophet Ezekiel foretold: "Have ye not seen a vain vision...[the leaders] have seduced My people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace...the prophets...prophesy concerning Jerusalem...see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord God." (Ezek. 13:6-16) Chapter 4, p.72

Folks, it's as if the Arabs back in '64/'65 (take your pick, lol) got together and said, "Hey. We've tried to get rid of these blasted Jews in several wars, and all we have done is draw farther apart in disunity while the Jews are increasing. We need to come up with SOMETHING NEW." And here comes the PLO. If Egypt or Jordan attacked Israel to FORCE her to give up land she wouldn't budge an inch, she'd just fight back. Instead, these Arabs devise this PLO, which is based on bogus history, to SLOWLY (like the frog in the soup pot) take away the Land from Israel, and Israel IS FALLING FOR IT!!! God MUST intervene to keep the Promises that He made to Abraham, and others.

"Although the 'Palestinians' pretend to be interested in negotiations brokered by Western powers to make 'peace' in exchange for Israel giving up additional land, their ultimate aim is to possess ALL of Israel. That remains their unwavering determination today. Nor could they be satisfied with anything less without renouncing Islam and its founding prophet, Muhammad."

"The willful persistence in this illegitimate claim, and its support by the rest of the world in the demand for a 'Palestinian State,' constitutes an inexcusable rejection of the clear testimony both of history and of Scripture. It is a flagrant rebellion against the God of Israel. This triple crime has created the Mideast crisis facing us today." Chpt. 4, p. 73

Israel and the world is MIRED in this quicksand of the OSLO TREATY, and there is no way out, save God. And when Sudden Destruction hits, and it LOOKS like Armageddon came, ISRAEL WILL ONCE AGAIN MAKE A TREATY WITH THE MANY. Her eyes on the world instead of on her ONE TRUE SAVIOUR. BUT WHEN OUR KING OF KINGS RETURNS (with His Saints) EVERY EYE SHALL SEE HIM, not a foolish treaty.

Another interesting thing is that all this fuss is over the PLO's claim that Palestine belongs to them. Since this was originally the land of Canaan, where did the word Palestine come from? From the ROMANS in A.D 135, when they changed the land of Israel to be called: Provincia Syria-Palestina, after Israel's long time ancient foes, the Philistines. The Romans were angry and did it out of punishment to the Jews. Notice the LIES OF THE PLO about "returning to their homeland" have roots in the work of the ROMANS? It is interesting that the Revived Roman Empire will be involved in the coming peace process. All this tangled web from years gone by have a purpose with our Holy God.

"Philistia was in the same location but a bit larger than the Gaza Strip of today, named after the Philistine city of Gaza. The Philistines were not a Semitic people like the Arabs but had invaded Canaan by sea from across the Mediterranean and occupied that particular area before the Israelites arrived. They were not the "original inhabitants of the land" (as today's 'Palestinians' claim their ancestors were), but displaced certain Canaanites just as they were themselves eventually displaced by Israel. Arab 'Palestinians' (who are Semites) living there today can claim neither ethnic, linguistic, nor historical relationship to the Philistines, nor can they justify on any other basis calling themselves Palestinians." p.78

We know that these "Palestinians" are NOT actual Philistines, but THIS IS WHAT THEY CLAIM AND THE WORLD BELIEVES THEM. What did our Adored warn us of in these last days? SEE THAT NO ONE DECEIVES YOU!!! These days, to the world, truth isn't important. Instead "what folks believe" is important. Tell a lie often enough and folks will believe it. This PLO entity came on the scene to lead us to this very hour. If you go by the 1964 date, then that very same year, AFTER the FORTY as was said before, ARAFAT DIED. So the PLO started going down after the FORTY. Or you can take the year of 1965 as the ATTACKS Officially began by the PLO. Either way, IT IS TIME TO GO!!! The PLO has done what it was supposed to do.
