"NEW FOR FRIDAY (LOTS to share!!!) & FRIDAY'S ARTICLE..."

Hi, Doves! First of all, we will be moving to our new house/land this coming Tuesday; we are having a moving company move our mobile home to the land, too, for my mother-in-law to live in.  Please pray that all goes smoothly, and that the Lord will bless our lives there... and that my boss will let me off at a decent hour tonight!  I am an Executive Secretary (9 years now!) for 3 guys with a public safety communications firm, and my main boss, Greg (who is a precious man, but a horrid procrastinator!) has a habit of trying to cram 2 weeks worth of work (I have a week's vacation beginning tomorrow) into the week before I take vacation.  We sent in a proposal Wednesday, and we have one due tonight that we haven't even beGUN yet, due to that procrastination!  I NEED the break!  Thanks much, brothers & sisters! And just a reminder, please feel free to send me your prayer requests at peggym@his-forever.com, and I will be happy to post them the next morning.

Friday's article, "The Israeli 'Threat'", by Hal Lindsey, will also be linked to the Daily Updates page.

EXCERPT:

Most of the world views Israel as the single greatest threat to world peace on the planet. In Europe, eight out of 10 Europeans named Israel the top contender for that title in a recent poll.

In the natural, it is really difficult to figure out why this is.

History demonstrates no threat to any society presented by the existence of Judaism or Israel. There is no recorded incident of Israeli aggression against another country, apart from clear instances of self-defense. The wars of 1948, 1956, 1967 and 1973 were all defensive wars. The combined Arab armies deployed for attack and openly declared they were going to annihilate Israel.

What wins Israel the category of most dangerous nation isn't its aggressive nature. Actually, Israel should win the top prize for simply striving to maintain its continued existence – an existence that was originally guaranteed them by the League of Nations and the United Nations.

I pray you are blessed by all, and that you have a blessed day in the Lord!

YSIC!
