Shalom all Doves,
J.B. post of June 7, and the date of the Israelites marching thru the Lion's Gate in 1967, on the 28th. of Iyar (always the 43rd. day count of the Omer, when counting from the day after the Unleavened Bread beginning..the first sabbath of U.B.) ; and Eric's post of June 7,

on the # 43 can add demension to the happenings of this year.Yesterday, June 6 was the 28th. of Iyar...the anniversary of the marching thru the LION'S GATE and also the 43rd day of the Omer Count. In the Jewish way of counting this Omer day we say it was the 2nd. day of the 7th. week, it is the 43rd day of the Omer Count. The 2nd day of the week is always the day of Chesed. The 7th. week is always Malchut. Day 43 is when we focus on Lovingkindness in Nobility. It is represented in the story of Ruth (1-4) about Love within Majesty.
I don't know if you notices in these two posts...that on this date in history, 38 years ago, Love for the LAND in Majestic Marching thru the LION"S GATE did fulfil prophecy as Jim said. 38 years was the length of time that the Exodus Israelites took to take the Land that God promised them...from the 2nd. Passover!!!!!
This year, as we put the Aviv Calendar month of Iyar...2nd. passover on top of the Hillel calendar for Passover we get an unusual combination of 2nd. Passover/1st. Passover Omer counts. So in essence...we have this year the 43rd. day of the Omer on both calendars, just different passovers. Like Shavuot and Penticost being put together. We have had 38 years since a Leap Year (as 1967 was) and this year was on the Hillel calendar joined these two passovers...and 38 years represents the generation that shall not die. Those who took the land and Jerusalem that God had promissed the Israelites.
What's next.....perhaps on Shavuot, Penticost???
Shalom,
Miriam Brown
