What an awesome time to be alive!!!
 
A number of years ago our church had a surreal experience one Sunday morning when an active general in the Russian Army spoke to our congregation.  He was dressed in his army green dress uniform with red braid and covered in medals, and was an imposing figure to say the least.  You could hear a pin drop when this large, stern-looking "enemy" of our country walked to the pulpit! The Holy Spirit really moved while we all sat in our seats listening to him tell of his conversion to Christianity, and how he has a rule that all new recruits study the Bible, how hundreds had been converted, and he hadn't been caught doing it yet!  He used his vacation every year to travel around giving his testimony at American churches.  I thought I had seen it all that day...until now!
 
In these end days, the enemy has changed drastically.  No longer is the fight just with a nation, but an evil ideology, who follows no Geneva Convention or known rules of warfare.  So, I was surprised today when my attorney (and old neighbor from the 70's) who is a Messianic Jew, emailed me with a profound truth...that the best hope for peace in the Middle East, is if the people there come to know The Prince of Peace--Jesus!  He also said that a former Muslim and hater of Jews will be speaking at his messianic synagogue in July and invited me to come and hear him.  This man is a former Arab Fatah Fighter for Yassir Arafat, who has accepted Yeshua/Jesus as His Lord and Savior, so his testimony should be riveting!  They are also having Messianic music and Davidic dance.  I can't wait!  Along with his email, he sent me the following link:    www.hopeforishmael.org
 
This really makes Acts 10:34 & 35 come alive doesn't it!
