Dear friends:The other day I sent a message titled "Angels heard singing." It prompted several interesting responses. Below are four which should bless you.

________________________1. Jim, back when my husband and I were members of a tiny little new church...20 members or so...One Sunday we were praising and worshiping The Lord musically, and about halfway through the last song it sounded like a larger choir singing. Everyone started looking around to see who had come in and joined us....it was sooooo beautiful!
________________________2. I sing on a worship team at my church and we have frequently heard angels singing with us. Sometimes we have heard one voice singing exquisite harmonies over our shoulders, sometimes we have heard a whole choir singing, as if they were suspended in the air above the sanctuary. We know it hasn't just been us hearing it because people from our congregation have come up to us and said, 'Did you hear the angels singing?" Once, while I was singing, I saw an angel stand right over my left shoulder. No one else saw him, but I was immediately enveloped in a sense of great joy and peace. At the time I was feeling very low about myself, and I believe that the Lord sent this angel to uplift me as I ministered.
I have seen angels before, and they all look different and seem to have different functions. The one I saw over my shoulder was a young male, and he had huge wings. He was glowing and there was a sort of "wind" that blew around him but it didn't blow me. He was smiling with great joy and he stood so close to me that he was almost pressed up against my shoulder/back. One thing I have learned about the angels singing with us: they do not sing on the redemption songs, only on the pure praise ones. The Lord showed me why this is: angels cannot sing about being redeemed, that praise belongs solely to the human race. However, the angels do join us in the praise songs that glorify the Lord for Who He is.
________________________3. Several years ago, I was the worship leader at a small church here in Austell, Ga. One Sunday, I heard a beautiful, strong, clear male voice singing from somewhere in the rather small congregation. I kept looking over the group to see who had come to visit, but saw no new face, and could never locate the source of the voice. We later concluded that we had been Graced with the manifest presence of one of the worshiping hosts of heaven.
_________________________4. have worked as a bookkeeper for the small company for many years and very often am by myself for hours during the day. Yesterday was an ordinary day - as I was doing my work I became aware of the sounds of a beautiful choir. I didn't pay much attention for awhile, but as the sounds were becoming more distinct - yet far off, I began to listen intently.
I never have the radio on - but I checked it anyway - then sat and listened - it was faint and sounded as if it was coming from outside. The phrase that I heard was that of giving glory to God and thanking Him for His great mercy and love. The song sounded familiar - but not. I work in a secular setting - so I was curious as to where this was coming from.
I got up and walked all through the offices and looked out at each window to see if I could detect the source. As I stood in the middle of the room I listened and realized it was coming from above me - and was not a figment of my imagination or coming from within my own head. Often I find myself humming a hymn and hear it in my head - but this was distinctly different.
After about five minutes - I just sat and listened and thanked the Lord - really felt as if I was hearing an angelic choir singing praises to the Lord. I thought, with great awe, one day soon, I would see with my own eyes what I was hearing with my ears. I felt such a presence of His love. And just quietly joined in thanking the Lord for His great mercy and love towards us. That was the recurring phrase that I could discern - there was more, but I couldn't make out the words.
