A compilation of news reports from the past week for the information of those committed to praying
for Israel and the salvation of the Jewish people.
JOSIE'S COMMENT: REPORT ON URGENT ESTHER PRAYER SUMMIT / GAZA DISENGAGEMENT
A total of 60 people from the nations of New Zealand, Australia, Ecuador, the UK, the USA, Canada, Sweden, Germany, Finland, Sierra Leone, New Caledonia, Switzerland, Cyprus and Israel answered the call to come to Jerusalem to pray and intercede for 4 days against the Bush / Sharon Disengagement Plan, and also to celebrate Jerusalem day on June 6th ( the day Jerusalem was re-united after the Six Day War in 1967 ).
We had an amazing time in the presence of God.We sang, we worshipped, we danced, we lay on our faces before God. We waved flags and banners (which make a clear statement in the spirit realm). We blew shofars and shouted high praises (hallel) allowing our voices to become shofars. We proclaimed and decreed God's word and promises as we fasted and prayed all day on June 6th.
We hired two armoured buses and armed guards and drove into Gush Katif. We all wore our orange streamers to each place we visited, the orange color representing opposition to the disengagement and were well supported with many other Jewish people who also identified their stand against the disengagement with their orange "mark". While there we had the privilege of hearing the amazing miraculous testimonies from a long time resident that has lived in Gush Katif for 18 years, with his wife (after living many years in Jerusalem). His testimonial held us all in awe as we began to realise how God has miraculously saved him from being blown apart from a bomb that landed in his back garden. He was at the point of being shot at point blank range by a terrorist after he stopped to help someone else, who had also been shot at by the same terrorist and who had also just killed two soldiers at point blank range. He shared many other similar testimonies of God's miraculous intervention in protecting others who live in this community.
The faith of these people in Gush Katif is extraordinary and God has honored their faith as they trust Him to keep them safe and alive. By the way, the bomb that landed in this mans back yard, had writing on it in Arabic. He had it translated and it read "Jerusalem". A statement in itself. You see it is not really Gush Katif that the Palestinians are after - it is ultimately Jerusalem. Gush Katif is their "way" to Jerusalem. It was a blatant and bold message to the Gush Katif residents. ps "Katif" means harvest and Gush means "block"
While there we also visited 2 hot houses in Gush Katif . One that is growing geraniums and the other one growing green and red peppers. This was the very location which was struck by Kassam rockets just 2 days later. We also gathered on the shores of the local Gush Katif beach (which is truly beautiful ), and there again we proclaimed God's promises for His people and for the land. We blew the shofars and we worshipped openly. Accompanying us for part of the day was a Messianic Jewess, who is living in Gush Katif. She shared with us the enormous struggle it is for her to live there, being the only believer, and the enormous pressure she is under each day with the threats of daily attack . We all were able to surround her in prayer and gave her our promise to continue to pray daily for her.
The owner of the hothouses, a young God honoring Jewish man, was completely taken by surprise and completely overwhelmed by our visit. He was reduced to tears when speaking on the phone to one of the leaders after we had returned to Jerusalem, from seeing so many come from so many different nations to stand in support of the community. We left love letters and financial gifts to bless and express our love and support for these dear ones .
We also gathered around the giant Menorah outside the Knesset to make our proclamations and pray for Ariel Sharon and the Israeli government. As we fasted and prayed on June 6 we sensed the Holy Spirit revealing to us what happened to Ariel Sharon (remembering that just 2 years ago, Ariel Sharon stood right in the heart of Gush Katif and told the people that this area would be the "backbone of the country" and was supporting and encouraging the people to build, produce and plant ). Now 2 years later, he wants to remove them !!! A key word that the Lord gave us when praying for him and the government was "overturning". We prayed for a complete overturning of the Oslo Accords, the Road Map as well as the Disengagement Plan because they all come from the same source, the spirit of Islam, that is now deluding the whole world including the Pentagon and the White House.
So what has happened to Ariel Sharon ? We believe that the Lord showed us that Ariel Sharon has come under the control of a Jezebel spirit. The Lord took us to 1 Kings 21 (we recommend you read through the whole chapter ) The scriptures from that chapter that stood out were : 1Kings 21:3 And Naboth said to Ahab, Far be it from me, by Yahvey, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you - 1Kings 21:19 And you shall speak to him, saying, So says Jehovah, Have you killed and also taken possession? - 1Kings 21:20 And Ahab said to Elijah, Have you found me, O my enemy? And he answered, I have found you because you have sold yourself to work evil in the sight of Jehovah. It is very obvious that the spirit has deceived PM Sharon to divorce himself from the land and become married to Bush's Road Map. So we can pray now and bind that spirit of Jezebel and command it to come off Ariel Sharon loosing him to return to the Land that he once fought for. Pray that he will once again be empowered with the right spirit.

and energy in intercession in your own home, or intercessory groups, churches etc. We are convinced that the prayers of the millions
of Christians who have been praying, along with the people here in Israel, has risen up before The God of Israel as incense. Thank you for
your support. It is only the " true praying church" that has access to the throne room, and to the ear of God to bring about a 180 degree change in this situation. This whole event was a tremendous "team effort" with everyone (leaders and those that came from the nations) each participating and contributing in some way .........

And just to finish, we want to say what a very blessed time we experienced as the 3 Israel based ministries, Kad-Esh, Watchman and Out of Zion worked and ministered as one. It was a "first" for each of us to minister together in a joint event. The Lord truly laid His hand on us all to release unity and love. And as He promised in Psalm 133, He poured out His Spirit upon the unity. We are looking forward to co-laboring again in a joint venture such as this in the future.
The Lord bless you as you bless Israel by standing in defense of her right to exist on the land given to the Jewish people by the God of Israel . Lets continue to pray for the settlers to remain strong and united against the Sharon government's plan to eject them from their rightful land.
