Yes it was me who wrote about the dogs.   The two next door are  labs also.  I think they bark largely out of boredom like you said.  They are staked to trees and left there all day.   I had to laugh about the light trick.    I already tried that, but they must think someone is going to come feed them or let them loose so they bark all the more.   The police have visited the owners on three occasions.  (obviously others are upset too) We asked the police to come over and advise us during their last visit and they said the owners response was basically, "So what?"   It's funny they wanted us to think they were christian people when we first met them.   I have learned that many profess Him, but there's no obedience to His commandments.   What happened to that love one another..........
 
I pray daily for God to bring an answer to this agitation.   All of your responses and love has really helped me to keep going.
