Hi John and Doves.

I would like to request that you all pray for my church.  It seems as though
we are under a lot of attacks right now.

The good news (and please hold them up in prayer):
My son Carl and my daughter Teresa and our pastor's son Ron are heading out on
a missions trip to Peru.  They will be going deeper up the Amazon than they
have before.  Southamericancall.org is taking a group of about 40 people up
to minister to people who have never heard the gospel before. According to
Wycliff (sp?) ministries, there are about 32,000 villages in this area still
to hear the gospel for the first time.  Please pray for their safety and
their effectiveness in the presentation of the gospel.  They will be leaving
this coming Monday morning and will be gone for about 10 days.

Under attack:
Ron - our pastors sone just had a major seizure about a week ago.  He is still
planning on going on the trip.  It is the first seizure he has had in about 7
years.  Additionally, he didn't have insurance so he will have a lot of bills
coming up as soon as he gets back from Peru.  Not asking for donations - just
your prayers.  God will - and is providing.

Our pastor's wife (Ron's step mother) just had a nervous breakdown at work.  I
don't know if it is related to his going on the trip or other issues.

Lots of tensions and it seems under a great deal of stress and pressure in our
church.

Pray for me, I will be delivering the message this Sunday to give our pastor
time to take care of his wife.
