"Yep Elisa ..."

Yep Elisa ... we also rent, a double-wide three-bedroom duplex for our family of four.  It's a mobile home on a platform with no basement - in an area where tornadoes/straight-line winds can occur.  We have in the past owned property twice, selling the last property at a loss so a young family could get a good price and location for their needs.  We go where The Father leads us.

Yep ... our two children have also been home-educated from the get-go.  They have more YHVH wisdom, "smarts", and logic than most adults I have to deal with.

My husband drives a small, used, diesel VW so he can get good "gas" mileage.  We do have a 1985 Dodge Caravan because we do live in the countryside now and for repairs/parts etc. a second vehicle is cheaper than a tow-truck.  It also allows me to get groceries, clothes, housewares, etc. and take the children to the parks and lakes in this area during the week, when few others are there.

Living in this location does give my husband a shorter commute to work.  That shorter commute time allows him less hassle with traffic and more time with us.

Yep ... we also live below this society's standards by choice.  My husband has never taken or KEPT a job because of the money or benefits.

We chose about a decade ago to forgo medical insurance benefits that were always offered through my husband's various jobs, trusting instead for Yeshua to take care of our bodily needs.  About 3 years ago my husband was given relief from an inflamed appendix at the price of $16000 because we were not insured.

I did work in various jobs until I met and married my husband when I was 31.  I then became a stay-at-home-wife and a stay-at-home-mother when the children came.

The lesson I meant to convey in the "clean your plate" had to do with how other people assume they can decide how your time/resources/efforts are to be spent to help others without realizing what your case may be.  We have had personal experiences with "help" given that was squandered because the "receivers" only looked to the "help", never why the "help" was given and why we were able to give the "help"!  They wanted the blessing but don't want to submit to the One who blesses.  Same thing happens here in the USofA ... and really anywhere Believers and their blessings are.

You can say what you want about the USofA ... the motives of those in its history ... what I do know is that my German ancestors came to this country with a "church-order book" and Bible in their possession and NO ONE took the books from them and burned the books.  My ancestors were allowed to worship The Father without troopers kicking in the doors of their churches or homes.  Even now my husband, our children, and I can set up a Sukkot in this backyard and celebrate First Fruits.

You wrote of satanic symbols ... well, over the years I've learned just how many satanic/pagan symbols are in even religious places and celebrations!  There are solid reasons why our family left any church system to enter the Sabbath/Feasts of YHVH.  Finding that Truth is a study all should engage in.

There was another post I submitted to John but in his wisdom, he didn't post it.  It had more to say about "walking" the talk and not just "talking" it among the Christians of the USofA.

The longer my wait for The Beloved, the more my heart dies as I see the wretchedness of the earth and mankind.  I do cry out, "How LONG of LORD!?  How LONG?!?! and I don't wanting Him to delay anymore!  And anyone calling me selfish for that should take it up with Yeshua.

Pray for the Shalom of Jerusalem!
