Jun 11, 04 - 10:52 AMI had an unusual experience this weekend. 6-6-04, that I'd like to share. Sunday, for some reason the Lord would not let me do anything but spend time with Him.I felt a strong urgency in my heart to stop and pray. So I did. I read the word for a little bit first then began in prayer. I cried, and was moved by the Lord. I was in worship, and winding down, when in the distance I heard horns honking. They were getting louder, so I went to the front window to see what the commotion was all about.
This has never happened in all the years we've lived here, 19 years. A bridal procession of cars were coming down our cul du sac. You can see that it is a closed street. Why they came down our street? No purpose in the natural. But God wanted to show me something.
The bride and the bridegroom were sitting on top of a the back of a convertable. The bride to the right of him. All were joyously waiving as they were passing by. I watched as they passed us, with a tender heart, and thought how nice.
As they were leaving, I felt a sudden change in my heart. I felt very sad. The scripture came loud and clear to me. Rev. 18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
I was moved to tears in my sadness. The Lord impressed upon me that we are very near to great sadness coming upon all who will be here during the Trib. I prayed the rest of that afternoon.
God bless each one and I pray that the Lord speak through us all as we are still the light in a dark world till He comes for us. Love Pauleen
I too believe that Reagan's death was very meaningful and a signal to this country. The day the Lord gave me this experience, was the very next day after Reagan died. It was as if to say it is over.
We (the nation) have kicked God out of this country today. Here was a great kind man. A man with integrity and moral character. Everything He stood for was a witness of the Lord! His son Michael, spoke so well yesterday of His father. How that the one gift He gave Him of most value was a relationship with Jesus Christ! Did this not speak to the nation and the world watching?
Sure they will turn their ears and eyes from the Lord. But they have no excuse. They have heard and been able to think on these things. No man is with excuse before the Lord! Oh yes it is coming!
Surly His word will not return void! The day after tomorrow will be childish compared to what is coming! Yes, how very sad! I could do nothing but cry. I felt His sorrow over the people of the earth and what is about to come upon it. I've been in prayer over the many lost. Even so, Come Lord Jesus! Love you all so very much. Pauleen
