"Re:The end of the world this year"

Hi Doves,

The message that Stephen's wife received is quiet interesting. The truth of the matter, however, is that there is a day for the end of the world every year. That day is the seventh day of the feast of tabernacles. In scripture Jesus refers to it as the last day

"In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried..." (John 7:37)

Jesus was referring to this great day of the feast when He said "And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should loose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day." (John 6:39)

Also when he said "And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life. and I will raise him up at the last day" (John 6:40)

Again when he said "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.(John 6:44)

The last trumpet that Paul spoke about will sound on the last day, which is that great(seventh) day of the feast.

Jim Bramlett has said in  one of his letters that the rapture is primarily a Gentile event. I must disagree.  The rapture is mainly a Jewish event, we the gentiles have been made partakers of it through Christ Jesus.

This is why the great tribulation and the rapture will start in Israel.  For Paul said, "Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the JEW FIRST, and also of the GENTILE; But glory (which happens at the rapture), honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the JEW FIRST,and also the GENTILE." (Rom.2:9,10)

From the above verse we can easily understand that the Lord will first raise all the dead Jewish believers, then He will raise all the dead Gentile believers. Then He will change the bodies of living Jewish believers and last of all He will change the bodies of living Gentile believers. The whole process will most likely happen very quickly. Immediately after the rapture God will start to pour out is wrath starting FIRST with the unbelieving Jewish people and THEN the unbelieving Gentiles.

Every year I look for the Lords coming during the feast of tabernacles, specifically on "that great day of the feast" For this year that day would be the 6th of October. That day could come and go without the rapture happening, it wouldn't bother me. I simply continue doing the Lord's work until the following year.

Lets continue to watch,
