"No rapture -- yet"

Dear friends:

The spring feasts are over, and no rapture -- again.  Many of us thought
the rapture might be before June 1.  It didn't happen.  Now, as we have
many times in the past few years, it's back to the drawing boards.

Now most will look with hope at the fall feasts.  However, I have long
believed that the rapture does not have to be on a feast day, for two
reasons.  (1) It is primarily a Gentile and not a Jewish event, and (2),
Jesus said it would be "as in the days of Noah."  The days of Noah were
before the feast days were given.  If I am correct, the rapture could be
anytime.  Today or tomorrow maybe.

We need to remember that the Bible says to give thanks in all things, and
that God's ways are perfect.  His timing for the rapture is perfect.  That
it has not happened yet gives more time for the completion of His perfect
plan, which includes our part in it.

Let us resolve to be good witnesses for Him, and be open for all that He
wants to teach us before we depart.  He is still teaching me daily, and
preparing me for eternity.  He is worthy to be trusted.  The timing is in
His capable hands, not ours.  We must trust Him, radically and without
reservation.  Because:

"In just a very little while, 'He who is coming will come and will not
delay.  But my righteous one will live by faith (trust). And if he shrinks
back, I will not be pleased with him.' But we are not of those who shrink
back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved" (Hebrews
10:37-39, NIV).

If you have been following the various boards and threads you know that
some are predicting cataclysmic events in June 2004 -- this month.  Whether
true or not, we cannot be sure, but it is good to keep in mind.  A summary
