"re: re: warning to the prophets"

Hi His2Serv,

You said, " Just because the word given is not directly FROM the scriptures
VERBATIM does not mean it is not a word.  Everything that was said is
accurate related to the WORD of what I can see and also to the time in which
we live.."

And you miss the deceptiveness of the message. You lack the discernment to
understand the danger in these messages that are claimed to be "from the
Lord".

Nowhere in the message does it direct you to read the BIBLE. These type
messages are all over the internet and throughout the Charasmatic and
Pentecostal fellowships.

ALL of these messages (this one is a prime example) leads you to believe
that THE PERSON giving the message is a true prophet and can be relied on
for instruction/direction from the Lord. All you have to do is visit many of
the prophetic message boards and websites that feature these type of
messages and you would begin to see IMMEDIATELY that they CONTRADICT one
another.

The type message is different that "a word of wisdom" or a "word of
knowledge" that is scripturally given by prophetic utterance.

God does not need in this day a "new" way to talk to His people. He does not
and will not speak to His people using any other way but His Word, which is
the Bible. Jesus is the Living Word and ALL honor and glory are given to
Him.

Any prophet of God will direct you toward THE WORD, THE BIBLE and not toward
receiving instruction, wisdom, direction from listening to him or her.

Maranatha,
David
