Immortality is a payment, it's also a gift. This is because the righteousness we practice daily is a gift. We receive both from the Lord, through His Holy Spirit!

Hence we read,

"Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members asinstruments of righteousness to God...Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? 

"But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness...For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness." 

"For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." [Rom.6:12,13,16-23]

I'm going to attempt to explain, as clearly as possible, the eternal covenant the Lord is offering the human race, should they choose to accept it. I will use an analogy which should be easy to understand.

You sign a contract to work for a company that will pay you £3,000.00 at the end of each Month. You have no reason to doubt the company will pay you, because it's a reputable company. The company has a contractual obligation to pay you, it's employee, what is owed when the work agreed upon is done! 

Before even receiving your 1st paycheck you start making inquiries about buying a new car or a bigger house! Working for this company is an act of faith. The company doesn't pay you first before you start working for them! You work for them first, in faith, for money you've not seen yet, then you're paid at the end of the Month!

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." [Heb.11:1]

The work and the payment appear separate at first, but after a period of time they become one!

The Lord Jesus Christ enters into an eternal covenant with us when we acknowledge Him as our Lord and God. Doing good or practising righteousness is the work, and immortality is the payment. Righteousness and immortality appear separate for now, however, on the Day of our redemption, they will become one! 

"To those who seek...immortality by perseverance in doing good, he will pay back eternal life." [Rom.2:7]

In order to receive immortality we must practice righteousness, which only comes from Him, through the Holy Spirit He gives to us. He then gives us His Word so we can diligently study it, in order to learn what is righteous before Him, and what is not! We then apply ourselves to practice righteousness, in faith, until the Lord comes and changes our bodies from mortality to immortality. And just like working for a company, we practice righteousness first, in faith, then we receive immortality when the Lord comes. 

"For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith." [Gal.5:5]

The "hope of righteousness" is immortality. Only those of us who've received the Holy Spirit have the ability to practice righteousness now, while eagerly waiting for our bodies to be changed from mortality to immortality, when the Lord comes on Pentecost, on the 17th of July 2015.

Many people who claim to be Christians today, will not receive immortality, when the Lord comes, simply because they're not practicing righteousness, which is the "work" the eternal covenant demands. It's the equivalent of wanting to get payed for doing nothing, or doing something other than what the eternal covenant stipulates! Imagine expecting to be paid for designing and producing hats, when the contract stipulates you will only get paid for designing and producing shoes!

This is why it's absolutely crucial we study the Word for ourselves and not depend on Pastors, many of which are not teaching doctrine that produces righteousness in the lives of those who receive their teaching.

"And this is my prayer: that your love may more and more overflow in fullness of knowledge and depth of discernment, so that you will be able to determine what is best and thus be pure and without blame for the Day of the Messiah, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Yeshua the Messiah..." [Phili.1:9-11][CJB]

"So let us not grow weary of doing what is good [that is, of practicing righteousness]; for if we don’t give up, we will in due time reap the harvest." [Gal.6:9]

Once the opportunity to receive immortality is missed on Pentecost, the next opportunity will be after the 42 Months of beheading! This will be from the 9th of March 2019 [Day 1 Month 1 Year 6004], until the Lord comes back with His glorified saints, on Pentecost, on the 29th of July 2022 [Day 29 Month 4 Year 6007].

"...I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God [that is, for living according to the Word of God], who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years." [Rev.20:4]

Christians who die in any other way [e.g earthquakes, floods, fires, starvation, terminal sickness, shootings, car accidents, plane accidents] other than what is described above, after Pentecost, on the 17th of July 2015, will have to wait 1,000 Years, that is, until the Year 3022, before they receive immortality.

"...the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished." [Rev.20:5]

The Devil is working very hard to make sure as many Christians as possible fail to receive their glorified bodies at Pentecost! That's why he's sent out Apostate Pastors to infiltrated the Church to teach doctrines of demons!

"Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy..." [1 Tim.4:1,2]

Unfortunately, doctrines of demons are very difficult to shake off, once they've taken root in a person! Hence the reason why many Christians will only reject them, and become purified, under intense persecution, at the hands of the Antichrist!

"He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand For a time [12 Months] and times [24 Months] and half a time [6 Months]."[Dan.7:25]

"Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand." [Dan.12:10]
