Once in a while, the enemy attacks or harasses the believer while they are asleep. I remember many many years ago going through a period where satan's forces were terrorizing me in my dream life. I prayed with about 3 Christian brothers about it and it ceased immediately.

This has happened only a handful of times since then, but early in the morning of July 29, 2012 it happened again. It was unprecedented.

The dream:

My wife and I were living in a place I did not recognize, but it had brick walls and was in the lower part of a building. It was like a small renovated, city loft apartment. Suddenly, the door opened and a family member of mine barged in, without knocking, and had a full compliment of suitcases with him, obviously because he planned to stay a long time. This shocked me no end, as it was not like this family member to do this without notice or warning. He was very aggressive about it. He told me that he was coming to stay with me! I told him, "How is it you didn't give me any warning you were coming?" no answer. I told this to my wife in complete shock and puzzlement, as she had retreated to the back bedroom, shut the door, and gotten under the covers of a bed.

I came back out to the apartment to find that many MORE people (strangers) had quickly entered my home! There were about 15(?) all they were all very pushy and aggressive. I found myself facing an African muslim cleric, dressed in black, with an elaborate headscarf, much taller than I was. He had a very distinctive face, black and grey beard, smiling. Behind him were two "assistants" (?) to him - demons dressed in black up to their decks with horrific heads and faces.

In shock I asked him, "Are there any more coming?", to which he replied with a smile, "Oh yes, many more are coming". I had it figured out - that was not my family member - it was a devil masquerading as my family member - these were all demons sent to attack me, and set up housekeeping.

I said "Enough!", and began to physically push all of them out the door, family member, muslim cleric and all. The more I pushed out the more suddenly appeared in the room, some even disguised as one of my children when they were young. A flood of these beings, as it were. Finally thinking I had pushed them all out, the devil still wasn't content to leave, and one disguised as a delivery person with an envelope came out from the back of the apartment, he was also much taller than I was. I turned around to face him, with my back to an elevator door, which I heard open, and the delivery man said to me "Someone you know is behind you". I quickly replied aggressively, "I don't know anyone in this place and I'm not turning around!"

I then woke up, really shaken up, quoting as many scriptures as I knew about the authority of Jesus, the name of Jesus, the Blood of Jesus etc.

Matthew 12:43-45
“Now when the unclean spirit goes out of a man, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and does not find it. “Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came’; and when it comes, it finds it unoccupied, swept, and put in order. “Then it goes and takes along with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first. That is the way it will also be with this evil generation.”

Like the devils in this parable, the devils in my dream thought they had a right to be in my house (me) - but that, like their appearances, was a lie.

Galatians 2:20
"I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me - and the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God Who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me."

Thieves try to take what isn't theirs - Blood bought or not! They have to be rebuked "in the Name of Jesus". Jude 1:9

Notice the last sentence of the Lord's parable:

"That is the way it will also be with this evil generation."

So, a generation, or large group of people, can find themselves in this state. Maybe even entire countries can find themselves in this situation. Demons find entire groups (generations) of people to live in after they wander around in "waterless" places - like places under a severe DROUGHT.
