ANTICHRIST--PART 4

THE TWO REVEALINGS
OF THE ANTICHRIST
Another one of the supposed reservations that some Christians
have as to why they believe that we cannot be in the Final 7
Years, and that we cannot know for certain that Obama is the
Antichrist, is found in 2nd Thessalonians, Chapter 2, where the
"Revealing" of the Antichrist takes place. In this post,
and my next post, I will attempt to deal with the TWO revealings
of the Antichrist. Because of progressive revelation, I
am very confident that there are TWO Scriptural revealings, not just
one, of the Antichrist.
2nd Thessalonians, Chapter 2 is a controversial chapter, as
it has a lot of different interpretations of a lot of different
topics. One of the main contorversies is the subject of
the "Revealing of the Antichrist". The
term "Revealed", when referring to the Antichrist, is
only mentioned three times in Scripture, and all three are in
the same chapter, which is 2nd Thess., Chap. 2.
Mainly because of the verses in this controversial chapter,
some Christians say that there is absolutely NO way that we can
know for certain the identity of the Antichrist, because the
Rapture has not happened yet. Other Christians declare
that until we see the Abomination of Desolation take place, or
see the Antichrist sitting in a newly rebuilt Temple, declaring
himself to be God, there is NO way that we can know for sure who
the Antichrist is. Others say the revealing of the
Antichrist will be in the middle of the Final 7 Years, when the
Antichrist recovers from the mortal head wound. Most
Christians have very strong views on this topic, so most
Christians (but there have been a few) have not jumped
on the bandwagon and joined me in boldly, and unapologetically
proclaiming, "There is absolutely NO doubt that Barack Hussein
Obama will become the future Antichrist."
I must admit that, until recently, this was a confusing
chapter to me, as it has been to Christians over the
centuries. Biblical scholars have used this chapter to
support both of the main theories on just when the Antichrist is
revealed. Verses 1--3 seem to tell us that the Antichrist
is "Revealed" first, and then the Rapture takes place.
Verses 6--9 seem to tell us that the Rapture takes place first,
and then the Antichrist is "Revealed". If we are
interpreting these verses correctly, then there can only be one
conclusion.
It is my very strong belief that progressive revelation has
given us the answer. Since the Fall of 2008, Christians
have had the answer available to them, although only a
relatively few discerning watchmen have discovered the
answer. All of us have had the huge advantage of
living to see the first "Revealing" of the Antichrist,
which is a tremendous advantage over Bible scholars
throughout the centuries. Because of progressive
revelation, we have the advantage of knowing that there are,
just like 2nd Thessalonians suggests, TWO REVEALINGS OF THE ANTICHRIST. We no longer
have to try to reconcile the two supposedly conflicting
positions.
In today's post, we will attempt to deal with the 2nd
"Revealing" of the Antichrist, which starts at the EXACT
midpoint of the Final 7 Years. This "Revealing" takes
place on the very first day of the 1260-day Great
Tribulation. We can know that this is the "Revealing"
spoken of in 2nd Thessalonians 2:6--9, because in
Revelation we are given a very specific time frame, and a very
specific event. This 2nd "Revealing" of the Antichrist is
found in Revelation 13. The 2nd "Revealing" of the
Antichrist will be his "Revealing" to the whole world.
According to Rev. 13, the day that the Beast, or
Antichrist, recovers from the mortal head wound will be the
day that begins the 1260-day Great Tribulation, as we see in
verse 5, "and power was given unto him to continue forty and two
months." Because of this amazing recovery, according to
verse 3, "all the world wondered after the Beast". This
will be the man who becomes the World Dictator of the one-world
government, as we see in verse 7, "and power was given unto him
over ALL kindreds, and tongues, and nations." This will be
the man who becomes Satan incarnate, as we see in verse 2, "and
the dragon (Satan) gave him his power, and his seat, and great
authority."
Summarizing the above paragraph, in one sentence, we can say
that the "Revealing" of the Antichrist to the whole world will
take place EXACTLY forty-two months, or 1260 days, before the
literal 2nd Coming of Christ, and 1260 days after the starting
date of the Final 7 Years, with the recovering of the mortal
wound of the leader of the one-world government. This
"Revealing" of the Antichrist to the whole world is the 2nd "Revealing".
We can tie this 2nd "Revealing" to 2nd Thess. 2:9, "Even him,
whose coming is after the working of Satan, with all power and
signs and lying wonders."
Obviously, the one-world government, and the recovering of a
mortal head wound by the World Dictator, have not yet taken
place yet. So, if this were to be the only "Revealing" of
the Antichrist, we could not say, with certainty, who the
Antichrist will be. However, there is another event,
equally as distinct, equally as Biblical, as the 2nd "Revealing"
of the Antichrist, which is the recovering of the mortal head
wound. Because of this one very distinct Biblical event,
there is a first "Revealing" of the Antichrist. It is
because of this amazing happening in the Bible, that
has recently taken place, that we can KNOW
the identity of the
Antichrist. The evidence is overwhelming and conclusive,
so we can say with complete confidence that the FUTURE ANTICHRIST IS BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA.
This concludes Part A of Part 4--The Two "Revealings" of the
Antichrist. There are two very distinct Biblical events
that "Reveal" the Antichrist. The 2nd "Revealing" is for
the whole world. The 1st "Revealing" is for discerning
watchmen. Jesus said that we COULD know. He did not
say that the whole church world WOULD know. I believe the
great mystery of 2nd Thess., Chap. 2, has been revealed.
There really are TWO "Revealings" of the Antichrist, just like this chapter
has been telling us right along.
My next post, hopefully soon, will deal with the 1st "Revealing"
of the Antichrist. Please hold your questions on the
content of this post until after I have posted Part B. I
will not attempt to answer your questions until you have read
Part B. Thank you for your consideration.
Maranatha!
