It takes a high degree of perception to realise some thing is fundamentally wrong in Christianity today.
You've expressed it so well in your article.
You must have heard the flawed statement that "God's love is unconditional"
Meaning we do absolutely nothing to receive it.
This is just one of the lies that's causing many to
live in such a way that denies the very faith they proclaim to have in
Contrast the above statement with what the Lord really said.
"As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you, abide [dwell] in My love."
"If you keep My commandments [all ten of them] you will abide [dwell] in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments [all ten of them] and abide [dwell] in His love." (John 15:9,10)
The above verses have a meaning that is more profound than many realise.
This is the meaning.
When the Lord was on earth He received the Father's love by keeping His commandments!
The Father loved Him by giving Him the love to obey His commandments!
In exactly the same way the Lord Jesus loves us by giving us the love to obey His commandments.
We respond in love by keep His commandment.
Often in Christianity today many have cast off the need to obey the Lord's commandments.
They call it grace.
This is not grace.
Grace is responding correctly to what is freely given.
God's love is a free gift!
It must be received, and lived out each day!
What many are really doing, is refusing the love, Jesus is pouring out on them!
They are making themselves the Lord's enemies.
And the Lord is not coming for His enemies in the Rapture.
He is only coming for His friends!
"Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down ones life for his friends.
"You are My friends if you do whatever I command you." (John 15:13,14)
The Lord shed his blood in order to be in a position to pour out His love into our hearts, by the Holy Spirit.
The only evidence to indicate that we are indeed dwelling in the Lord's love, is that we are doing whatever the Lord commands us!
Failure to grasp this truth will cost many the rapture.
Once again, great article.
Do remain blessed,
