Colossians 1:9-16  (Prayer paraphrased)

      May we receive, O Lord, all wisdom and spiritual understanding for a full insight into

        Thy Will.

      That our manner of life may be worthy of Thee and entirely pleasing too.

      We pray that we may bear fruit in active goodness of every kind and may grow in the

        knowledge of You.

      Strengthen us in Your glorious might with glorious power to meet whatever comes

        with fortitude(long-suffering), patience and joy.

      And we thank Thee that Thou has made us fit to share the heritage of Thy people

        in the realm of Light.           Amen.
