JUBILEE TIMELINE The Liberation of Jerusalem as The Focal Point
Since AD 70, Jerusalem had not been in Jewish administration until 1967. IF the liberation of Jerusalem on June 7, 1967 is the key pivotal point in modern history related to Biblical eschatology & the End Times -then one can count from this date the Jubilee cycles & possibly ascertain the last Jubilee within the 50 & 70 year span generation that could herald the conclusion of Daniel’s Last Week of 7 from 1967. This study does NOT allude or project that Jesus Christ’s 2nd Coming has to occur on a Jubilee Year nor does it necessitate the Rapture of the Christian Church as a precursor. 

 

 

In Genesis, the LORD instructed the Nation of Israel to count off 49 years & on the 50th Year proclaim a Jubilee where all things reverted back to the original state/condition. This was to commence once Israel entered the Promised Land. Israel did not do that & for example, Israel was exiled into Babylon 70 years or 10 Years of 7s for the Sabbaths owed since entering the Land up until that time.  Due to the difference in Jewish Calendar counts, there is dissenting views on which date is the correct count to establish a Jubilee Year; I have nonetheless superimposed modern Gregorian dates.

 

 

 

A SABBATICAL CYCLE: A period of 49 Years, comprised of 7 years x 7 Sabbaths of Years.

 

A JUBILEE: The year following the 49th Sabbatical Cycle or 50th Year proclaimed on Yum Kippur of the previous year. For example, if 1917 was a Sabbatical Year, then 1918 would be the Jubilee Year, if1966, then 1967 would be the Jubilee Year etc.

 

OBSERVATION: IF the next Jubilee Year is to be on 2016 & be proclaimed that Fall on Yom Kippur 2015, the Jubilee Year would be proclaimed for the year 2016 & not end until the year 2017. IF from Yom Kippur 2011 which is October 8, 2011 you add Daniel’s Chapter 9 (1260 Days Count), it would land on March 20, 2015 or Nisan 1. It so happens to be also accompanied by a Total Solar Eclipse in March of 2015. Could the 2015 mark the ‘Mid-Point’ of Daniel’s 7th Week or the start?
