I’m with you on the minimal effect tiny Elenin will have on the earth’s tectonic plates. However, the effect this small comet seems to be having on the psyche of ‘reasonable’ people is bewilderingly powerful!  Is ‘bewilderingly’ even a word?  See its affecting me as well.

Anywho, I’m not sure why folks are gravitating towards this small object when there are probably many more larger and occasionally closer objects than Elenin that could affect our orb.
