There is an incredibly big blessing in studying Gods word! One thing that is probably not new any more to most of you, but was a huge step forwards in my own understanding of many things was when I started studying the book of Revelation, and the 7 letters to the 7 angels of the 7 churches in particular.
At first, I always skipped the first chapters and directly jumped to chapter 4 to read about the 7 seals, then 7 trumpets (or to be more precise: 6 trumpets + 7 thunders + 1 trumpet! - the 7 thunders are a much overlooked detail!), and then 7 bowls. The 7 letters to the 7 angels of the 7 churches simply seemed boring in comparison. Only later I found that the 7 letters to the 7 angels of the 7 churches are incredibly interesting and of utmost importance too. In fact, if you expect to be raptured, the 7 letters to the 7 angels of the 7 churches are actually the most interesting part of the book because they are most relevant for your life here on earth before the rapture (which possibly happens before the 1st seal is broken. This view is shared by Perry Stones but contradicts the visions of Dr. Owuor :-/).
Although I already learned that the entire "Church Age" is represented by this 7 letters to 7 angels to 7 churches about 1 year ago, I recently had a feeling to study it again.I was wondering why the letters are addressed to angels and not directly to members of the church? Although I have no definite answer to that yet, it again feels like such a big blessing to just study it! (If you have a good answer to that question, please let me know!)
Therefore, if you don't know much about the topic yet or if you simply have a desire for some refreshment in the spirit, I can strongly recommend the following article:http://www.thepropheticyears.com/The%20book%20of%20Revelation/Revelaltion%20chap%202.HTM
