"Re: Kelly Herman - A Soul Lesson"

What a wonderful experience that must have been for you.  I can see how we can all get A Soul Lesson from something like this.  I'll be forwarding this to several friends.  Thanks for sharing it with us.

"A Soul Lesson"

There are times when we think we are 'okay' in The Lord, and there are things He dares to bring forth. This lesson has taught me so much about myself, I must share it. If this indeed will help someone else then it has done it's job.

Sitting on the living room sofa, I was mulling about my day and what would be accomplished, when all of a sudden a bitterness surfaced that was quite freightening. I immediately sought The Lord and asked Him, "What is this I am feeling and experiencing? Is" The Lord stated matter-of-factly, "It is bitterness undealt with."
I said in return, "Oh Lord this has been buried and you have brought it to the surface. I don't know how to deal with this. Help me know where to begin!"

Immediately The Lord proposed a scenario to me. He simply said this, "If the person you have bitterness toward were before My Throne, and you also, and I told them they were forgiven for all eternity for what they had done to you and they would suffer no punishment, could you handle that?"

I thought about it for a couple of moments knowing I, at this moment or any other, did not want to lie to My Lord and Savior. I sought the words and stated to Him with all confidence, "If you have forgiven them or even if you have not...I will forgive and I hope you will say to them that they are forgiven for all eternity and will suffer no punishment for what has been done." I knew at that moment that The Precious Holy Spirit had done a Glorious work in me."

The Lord reminded me with a warm love, "Be prepared, for I reserve the right to bring forth those things I want you to deal with when I see them." ...and I gave Him full permission!

You see, we are all a work in progress. As long as we draw breath, we are not finished here, nor can we accept the lie that we have learned all there is to know. I am not a scholar, I am clay ready to be worked and long someday to be a beautiful vessel in the hand of The Potter, for He is Faithful to accomplish all His good pleasure.

Allow The Lord to bring forth those things within our souls that have yet to be dealt with. A heavy burden has been lifted from me and now I have unspeakable joy!

Looking up and loving the learning process! Kelly in Dallas
