I will certainly NOT be hiding in caves. The Bible is quite clear there will be no place to hide (at least not for non-believers - Christians can hide in Christ). And I don't have the least amount of fear in thinking about all that could possibly be happening in the next few months, in fact it makes me excited to think about Christ coming for us. God is in complete control and He will protect His people. Satan is the author of confusion and tries his best to make people afraid of anything having to do with Bible prophecy, because he doesn't want them to recognize what's happening and turn back to Christ.
The Internet and You Tube have a lot of conflicting points of view about Elenin and what destruction it may or may not cause. It could very well be a normal comet that simply comes into the system and goes back out w/o any affect at all. That's what many are claiming... others say the world as we know it is going to end.
I must say, there are parts of Revelation that seem to match up with what Elenin is predicted to cause, but that would totally mess up the time line if Elenin causes it all. Perhaps it may be a start of the trouble, perhaps not. Also, it seems quite clear that people of the world will realize it's GOD that is causing this... a natural disaster, such as a brown dwarf or a comet, could simply be explained away as nature, not God.
"there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation". (2Pet 3:3-4)
The more predictions that don't happen, the more scoffers it will produce.
Christ will return for His bride sometime soon. Possibly his year, maybe even this month, but if not, we need to keep believing and trusting our Lord. What happens if the last space shuttle flight has a perfect mission with no issues at all? Do we give up?
Hopes of a specific time frame (such as July) can cause big excitement, but are a major disappointment when it doesn't happen.
It's always a good idea to have a several week supply of food and water for emergencies such as extended power outages or other events that would keep you from getting to a store, but I wouldn't suggest hiding in caves.
Hi Doves. . .
I sometimes get so confused with some of the information provided in the you tube videos etc.., with regard to hiding in caves, stocking up on food etc....
Are not the unbelievers those that hide themselves in the caves and among the rocks, those that are not looking up. Surely they will be found on that day, earthquakes, water flooding all cavities etc.. I just don't think I want to be underground when the earth is quacking and the water is coming in.
How about looking up and rejoicing??? I can't be looking up if I'm hiding in a cavern/cave somewhere.
Just believe I will trust Jesus even if it means getting off this rock via death.
Thank you all for your posts and watching so diligently.
