I'm not convinced that Elenin is a brown dwarf, but I'm not 100% convinced it's not either... just very skeptical.
In the game of Tug-A-War, two teams play against each other, each at the opposite end of a rope.
As more people are added to one end of the rope, more pull is exerted against the other team.
But, what effect does that have on someone who is WATCHING the game? NONE!!!
On 3/11, Earth was in the alignment with the other objects.. they were all pulling in a straight line.
On 7/7, Earth was simply a spectator, it was not involved. The pull Elenin, the Sun, Mercury, and Saturn had on the Earth on 7/7 was no different than it was on 7/6, 7/5, etc. They aren't combining their gravity to pull from the same direction, they are individuals pulling from multiple directions, just like they are every other day of the year.
I see no reason the alignment of 7/7 would have any affect on earth at all, since earth isn't part of that alignment. The fact that TerralO3 thinks it would makes me even more skeptical of him. Hopefully some of his follower will wake up.

I 100% agree! Many people have specified Rapture dates or end of the world events and none of them have come true, causing more and more of the world to scoff. But, if this was NOT the case, we would not be in the "last days".
2 Peter 3:3-4: In the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation."
I believe it's ok to discuss the theories of Elenin on Five Doves since the people here are already watching and waiting for HIS soon return. I do NOT think it's a good idea to use Elenin as a scare tactic to try to win people over to the Kingdom. That isn't likely to work, and like you said, will simply cause a weakening of credibility.
Many people in our Churches are sound asleep and totally oblivious to how close we are to the end, so perhaps using the speculation of Elenin as an ice breaker to get into the topic of end time events would be helpful, as long as we aren't trying to push one end of the spectrum or the other.
Christ is coming back very soon and we need to be ready and get as many other people ready as possible.

"Elenin aka Nibiru"
Well 7-7-11 has come and gone, there was a 7.6 quake in the New Zealand area, on 7-6-11.
On 3-11-11 we had the massive 9.0 quake of Japan. The distance of Elenin on 3-11-11 was far greater than now. So on this new alignment of Elenin there should've been a 9.0 or greater quake if the theories of Elenin are to be believed. This did not manifest, also I have seen several videos of the Gavin Point Dam allegedly wired with explosives. I live in the Omaha area, and local news said this rumor was completely false. Theorists were tying in this staged terror event with Elenin. I think it's safe to say ALOT of disinformation is being pushed. With the obvious agenda to discredit christians who believe in the 2nd coming of Christ, making us all look like nutbars. You had Harold Camping, now this Elenin, people are going to start looking at believers with contempt and scorn. Now more than ever we should be diligent and discerning, carefully examining all information.
I am finding it increasingly difficult to witness to people because of this kind activities, and it is my sincere prayer that all Christians take a step back, take a deep breath, be very cautious. The credibility of those who believe in the 2nd coming of Christ is being weakened greatly. May we remain diligent and informed. Maranath
