Jesus stated He would never leave nor forsake us.

I, like so many, just want Jesus to return.  In view of all the information posted,  I simply tell myself  "If God tells me something, and man tells me something, guess who I'm going to believe."

I can only look up and rejoice, and, I have to ask, what exactly does He want us to be looking up for?  Will there be events happening in the sky that could be a huge deception?  Can't wait to find out!

As for hiding, stocking up on food etc. - I truly believe we will be gone when the system of the mark is put into place, of not being able to buy, sell or trade.  My question would be - If those important things, food, water, etc., are not here then what would folks be buying selling or trading ?  The God of all things certainly has made enough of everything to last until He comes back!  When He returns things will be going on as usual, marrying, etc...
