I called FRC and was able to speak at length with Chaplain Pierre Bynum, a very nice fellow.

He said he did not personally witness the Dalai Lama or any of the monks praying over Obama but he knows that inside their meeting there were all kinds of prayers, some of which could have been for Obama, but he could not say for sure.  He agreed that many spirits were probably released in D.C., but also said that spirits are always around and busy there!
