"Two Moons Confusion"
Dear John,
I hope you are finally recovered from the
flu. I had it bad last year and had to sit up in my bouncy
chair to be able to breath silently and rock myself to
sleep. That was great tribulation.
Are the two new moons in July (1 and 30 -- Tamuz 11 & Av 11)
confusing folks?
The beginning of the Hebrew months hardly ever fall on the new
moon. It's the springtime full moon that they look for each year
to adjust their Passover for that year.
The Gregorian calendar helps us to find the new moon and the
full moon for they are always 29.5 days apart.
Noah's calendar was only 364 days long with months 28 days and
13 months, which add up to 364 days. So after the flood
the days of the moon lengthened to 29, and after the shadow went
down backwards for Hezekiah's sign to be healed it became 29.5
days.
God stretched out the heavens and lengthened
the days of the year and the days of the moon phases. Well, he
created it all so he certainly could change it.
Isaiah 40:22 [kjv] "It is he [God] that sits upon the circle of
the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that
stretches out the heavens as a curtain, and spreads them out as
a tent to dwell in:"
Daniel 2:20-22 [kjv] "Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the
name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And
he changes the times and the seasons: he removes kings, and sets
up kings: he gives wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them
that know understanding: He reveals the deep and secret things:
he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with
him."
Amos 3:7 [kjv] "Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he
reveals his secret unto his servants the prophets."
Just a little aside: With the precession of
the equinoxes, the spring equinox now falls on February 20 and
that seems to say that we are now in the Age of Aquarius [the
water bearer]: At the time of Christ the equinox was in Pisces
[the fishes]: At the time of Abraham it was in the Ram [lamb].
So at the beginning of time I suppose it was in the sign of
Tarus the bull.
This all happens because the stars of the
constellations make a vertical movement of 10 degrees every
2,000 years. The constellations circle the earth in 365.25
days from east to west. That star Sirius rises in the east
as does the Sun and when they rise together it calculates our
year of 365 days in the summer but now at midnight Dec 31 the
year is more accurately calculated at Greenwich, England because
you can see that star better in the dark sky.
I'm getting a better handle on all this info
as the end approaches. It is very soon. I could mention a
date but it would probably be wrong as my dates have been so far
but I continue to watch.
It has been four years since I heard the
voices of angels singing, as a trumpet call to me, on the eve of
Yom Kippur. I have for many years been trying to correlate the
calendars to find out when God began counting the 6,000 years
for man. I do believe that this is that last year. James
Ussher said that it began on October 23. Did he know
something that we don't. Could it end on October 23rd, or
there about? I don't know.
Well, may God bless you and keep you and make
his face to shine upon you and give you peace in these last
times, Jeanne
