"To Josua"
In response to http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/july2011/josua715.htm
Dear Josua,
Thanks for referencing the link.
About two years ago I studied the website you mentioned and read
practically all their pages and articles. Some of their studies are
excellent and I was much edified by them. They had a strong effect on
me. They warn about the importance of sanctification and also explain
many pictures in the Old Testament, in thoughtful and well written
articles.
However, I disagree with two of their views:
1. Their authors say that the “main Harvest Christians” (referring to
the Tribulation Saints, last rapture) will happen in the middle of the
Tribulation. In my opinion, this would be impossible, because if that
was so, there would be no saints for the False Prophet to persecute and
to kill, from that point on. So I disagree with their timing of the
rapture of the surviving Tribulation Saints, which I think is on the
Feast of Trumpets (the Last Trump), just before the Wrath of God is
poured on the Earth, a few months before the Second Coming.
2. They propose a theory which divides salvation into three aspects —
salvation of the spirit, the soul and the body, so that salvation by
grace through faith would apply only to the spirit — the soul would be
saved by works. This is confusing to me.
Love from YSIC,
Eliane
