Hi Doves, just wanted to tell Diana and Amanda that I experience the smell of smoke or a sweet smell like incense also.  I started to have a close relationship with the Lord back in 2008. I believe that I experienced the spirit of truth first, but I also about the same time experienced a sweet smell of smoke, that no one that I talked to knew anything about.  Through prayer I came to the understanding that when I experience this smell, it is a time to pray for what ever is on my mind, and it can be at Home, Church, in a car, it can be anywhere.  I know I feel the presence of the Lord also when this happens. Praising the Lord and his soon coming,  and may we witness to the lost with urgency,  Time is short.    Dana
