"John Clark, Uni-Kidney and the 9th of Av"
In response to John Clark, it was great to read your
testimony. I too am a member of the uni-kidney club. My
tumor (also stage III and 6cm) was also found by “chance”. At the
same time, we experienced financial disaster and loss of income for
2-1/2 years. We also lost insurance etc. I can absolutely
say though that HE is Faithful beyond measure!!!! And we are
blessed beyond measure. We can only see His true faithfulness
during times of testing.
Now, since this is really a rapture site, I offer the following:
On the 9th of Av, (August 9 this year) several disasters have occurred
for Israel. This is kept as a solemn fast day in remembering the
disasters. The generation of Jews that left Egypt was condemned to
die in the desert after their response to the spies report.
Apparently, the Jews didn’t realize that the dying had stopped until
another 6 days had passed, 39 years later. (They had apparently
not realized that God had counted the first year of the exile as year 1
of the curse.) They celebrated the end of dying on the 15th of
Av. The first two temples were also destroyed on this date. I
find it interesting that since the Church Age began on Pentecost, the
“New Temple” is our bodies. Could it be that the Church Age would
end on the same disaster day by a loss of the “New Temple”?
I have another question for Doves. In Revelation 7.9 where John
sees the people standing before the throne (and according to word
studies, these have to
be “raptured believers – NOT souls of those that were martyred during
the tribulation.), they are carrying palm branches. My question is
where did they get the palm branches and why are they holding
them. I have a few ideas but would like to hear what others think.
