"SCRIPTURE DOES NOT
TELL US THE RAPTURE IS 'IMMINENT', BUT RATHER THAT IT IS
'EXPECTANT'....."
Dear Doves,
Scripture tells us that the rapture is an 'expectant event' just
as a pregnant woman about to give birth is an 'expectant event'.
Scripture tells us to 'watch for the signs' of the coming
'expectant event' like you would watch for the 'labor pangs'
just before a pregnant woman gives birth. The 'labor pains' come
shortly before the birth just as we are told that when we see
these things begin to happen to look up because our redemption
is near.
The birth of a child does not come without warning, and neither
does the rapture. We are told that the rapture is an 'expectant
event' with prior warnings, not an 'imminent event' without
warning. Scripture also tells us exactly what the 'birth pangs'
warnings are that we are to watch for.
Come Lord Jesus!
