To Furst: Regarding the Sixth Seal

Hi Furst,

Rev 6:12-17 KJV "And I beheld when he had opened the Sixth Seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"

Isaiah 2:12-21 KJV "For the Day of the LORD of hosts [shall be] upon every [one that is] proud and lofty, and upon every [one that is] lifted up; and he shall be brought low: And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, [that are] high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan, And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills [that are] lifted up, And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall, And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures. And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. And the idols he shall utterly abolish. And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made [each one] for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth."

The kings, great men, rich men, chief captains, mighty men, every bondman, and every freeman in these verses are not pretending to be afraid of God here. I would submit that after seeing what clearly are supernatural events in the skies, and experiencing the great earthquake, that they truly are terrified because they have already received the Mark of the Beast! Once the Mark of the Beast was received, their eternal destiny in hell was sealed, and now they know it. They gather together later at Armageddon to fight Christ, because they have nothing to lose at that point. The Rev 6:12-17 Sixth Seal is the announcement of God's Wrath, and following immediately in Rev 7:1-8, the 144,000 are sealed to protect them from God's Wrath. Then the 'great multitude that no one can number' appears in heaven before the Lamb in Rev 7:9-17. This is the Pre-Wrath Rapture, and notice the 'great multitude' comes out of the Great Tribulation. The Wrath of God begins following the opening of the Seventh Seal, after the silence in heaven for half an hour. God's Wrath includes all of the Trumpet and Bowl judgments. At the Seventh Trumpet in Rev 11:15-19, Christ is getting ready to physically return to earth, hence the loud voices of the angels proclaiming "the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ." Revelation chapters 12, 13, and 14 are a parenthesis in this narrative, which picks up again at Rev 15:1 with the Bowl judgments. Rev 15:1 NKJV "Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete." The Bowl judgments follow the Trumpet judgments and complete the Wrath of God. All born again believers are exempt from God's Wrath.
