God has shown us the importance of the 2520 prophetic year linkings. The beginning date is related to the other.
Examples
July 17, 537 bc (Cyrus decree) + 2520 proph = May 14, 1948
August 8, 518 bc (decree to rebuild temple) + 2520 proph = June 7, 1967
Nov 26, 539 bc (Daniel’s 70 weeks prophecy) +2520 proph =Sept 25, 1946 (feast of trumpets, beginning of jewish year 1947 and exactly 70 proph years before Day of Atonement Sept 23, 2015. Also 430 days later was the UN decree on Nov 29, 1947 for Israel to become a nation)
A 4th 2520 proph year linking
June 7th, 473 bc is Sivan 23 (Esther 8:9) + 2520 proph years = April 6, 2012 (Nisan 14 passover. It actually begins at 6 p.m. on April 5, 2012
So what is so special about this?
King Ahasuerus could not revoke the decree made 69 days earlier on Nisan 13 for the jews to be destroyed. So on Sivan 23 another decree was made and Esther 8:11 reads
“In them the king granted the Jews who were in each and every city the right to assemble and to defend their lives, to destroy, to kill, and to annihilate the entire army of any people or province which might attack them”
Now compare that to Revelation 11:5 talking of the two witnesses
“And if anyone desires to harm them, fire proceeds out of their mouth and devours their enemies; and if anyone would desire to harm them, in this manner he must be killed”
Very similar isn’t it? These 2 verses are linked and these 2 dates are linked.
Now the funny part
I knew the jewish people have always expected Elijah to return on Passover but I could not recall why so I googled it. I googled it of course because it is widely expected that the two witnesses will be Elijah and Moses (also interesting that Jesus called John the Baptist a type of Elijah and John the Baptist was most likely born on Passover)
I found this and copied it here
Why is Elijah expected to return at Passover ?
In Malachi 4:5 it says,
"Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD."
The Jewish Bible has three chapters of Malachi, so what we call Malachi 4:5...they call Malachi 3:23.
Each year at Passover, the Seder dinner table has a reserved setting for Elijah the prophet to return to earth at that time. After the four cups of the Seder dinner have been received, there is a fifth cup called the Cup of Elijah, received in expectation of his return.
We know that this is a Jewish custom or tradition. But how did this custom get started in the first place ?
Well each Sabbath day, there are certain prayers said and certain Bible verses read. The Jewish sages long ago had portioned out sections of the Torah for each Sabbath Day. This section per Sabbath is called the "haftarah".
The portion of Malachi 4 fell upon the Great Sabbath (Shabbat ha'Gadol) which is the Sabbath service preceding Passover.
Since every year the prophecy of Elijah's return was read and pondered just prior to the celebration of Passover, then it became customary to look for Elijah's return at Passover. Surely God seems to indicate so, since nothing occurs by accident in God's universe.
As this writer indicated nothing occurs by accident in God’s universe. Did you see Malachi 4:5 in our bible and Malachi 3:23 in the jewish bible.
Sivan 23 is jewish month 3 day 23…..Malachi 3:23
Passover 2012 starts April 5 so month 4 day 5….Malachi 4:5
I really had to laugh when I saw that. The more God shows the more I say WOW. He is Awesome.
So I would expect that the 2 witnesses will show up on Passover 2012-the night of April 5th. They would start there 1260 days then 6 days before Satan is cast down on April 11, 2012. This would also seem to indicate that the 2 witnesses will not only witness but protect the jewish people also.
