"to Wendy re Dreams"

When I first started reading your dream, I didn't get the feeling that it was a "Rapture" dream, it felt more like a daily life sort of dream...the fact that the Holy Spirit comes on us as Christians, yet we are left here in the world. We sometimes feel we have to 'fend for ourselves', and yes, we will go through tribulations, but that isn't just post rapture, that is NOW, everyday. I love the fact that you hit him with a large wooden plank and knocked him out. You do realize when Jesus was nailed 'to the cross' it was actually a 'cross beam', the pole or sometimes a frame work of poles. But, seriously, you whacked him with the power of the Cross! I love it.

I don't think you have to worry about your 'standing' with the Lord.

I will be honest, I did get a negative feeling when you described your experience at the new church. Now, I am not meaning to speak ill of it or your friend or the pastor. But please, keep in mind, it's not just the Lord that can 'know' things about you. I used to be into the occult, was a practicing witch. I 'got info' all the time. Part of it was like on the TV shows "The Mentalist" or "Lie to me"...it's just a way to 'read people'. Not saying this is what happened, but just remember, there are alot of people out there with high blood pressure. Let me give you a scenario:

An 'alter call' goes out for 'anyone with high blood pressure'. You walk up. You may look timid, a person can see that, comment on that, you may not even be aware that you are 'giving signals'. If you look scared, they can say something about you being upset, scared, nervous...a person with high blood pressure usually exhibits traits that can be read...my grandma is a prime example, she gets a flushed look to her cheeks when her blood pressure is high. You may well have had dark circles under your eyes that can mean you haven't been sleeping well. People can ask leading questions, then narrow down by your answers and SEEM to 'know things'. You have told them, by your face, your body, and the answers you give. I am not saying this is a scam, this is just a talent some people have. Everyone from salesmen to pastors use it. As in the TV show, the man who helps the police used to be a professional psychic...he used his gift of 'reading people' to make money. People like the disgraced tv Evangelists of a few years back did it too. Instead of worrying that you have somehow 'lost your blessing, you might  just consider the fact that this person was speaking out of turn...or maybe it's just not in God's time. Just pray for His will.
My son was nearly 'turn off' from church when a visiting pastor told him he'd be cured of his Tourett's...it nearly crushed him. He felt he'd done something wrong, or that God was withholding the 'healing'. He then realized the man was NOT speaking God's word, but his own. Trust God, man can mess things up.
I think your fear of being 'left behind' is clouding your dreams. If you are covered in the Blood of Jesus, have accepted Him as your personal Savior, and have dedicated your life to Him, and asked him to Live His life through you...I don't think you need to worry. Now, as my old relatives used to say, 'Good Lord Willing and the Creek Don't Rise', you should be going in the Rapture...of course, the Rapture could happen after you've gone onto Glory....then, you might already be there, waiting for the rest, right? I don't know about you, but I certainly hope there will be Saints there, sharing the stories of Glory...discussing all that might be considered 'preaching'...only in a 'preaching to the choir' type way.

The second dream doesn't really stand out to me, and really, it doesn't matter, since no matter when/where you end up in the future, you are spreading the Gospel, and that's a good thing.

The first dream is awesome. The power of the Holy Spirit descending like a Dove, and you wielding the Power of the Cross to thwart bad guys? I wanna hang with you!! lol.

Thanks for sharing. Sometimes a dream is just a dream, I know my kids have prophetic dreams, but mostly they are just our brain's way of working out the problems of the day. You know that to 'get to Heaven', you need to 'be in the Word'...so you have a dream of you doing just that...easy peasy. :)

Blessings~
