This has probably already been discussed at Five Doves, but Obama chose NOT to use a Bible for his second swearing in by Justice Roberts.  Why???  Obama was insistent on using the same Bible that Abraham Lincoln had used at the televised swearing in ceremony Jan. 20, 2009.  Surely, there was a Bible  available somewhere in the White House that evening Jan. 21, 2009, for the re-administration of the oath of office __even  if the Abraham Lincoln Bible was already put away for safe keeping. "We decided it was so much fun . . .," Obama joked while sitting on a couch in the Map Room. Obama stood and walked over to make small talk with pool reporters as Roberts donned his black robe. "Are you ready to take the oath?" Roberts asked. "I am, and we're going to do it very slowly," Obama replied. After a flawless recitation that included NO Bible and took 25 seconds, Roberts smiled and said, "Congratulations, again."   http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/01/21/AR2009012103685.html The use of the Abraham Lincoln Bible the first time was to create an identification with Lincoln that Obama has used since the time he entered politics in Illinois ("Land of Lincoln" is the Illinois state slogan).  Obama's use of Springfield, Illinois, for example, to announce his candidacies is part of the ongoing strategy to identify himself with Abraham Lincoln. Thus the  Bible was only for "show" the first time and was omitted  the second time sending a clear anti-Christ signal to the world.
