According to biblical scholars, the Jewish year 5770 (Sept ’09 – Sept ‘10) is very prophetically significant, as its completion is just 7-years shy of the 70-year generation mark (Ps 90:10) since Israel’s 1948 rebirth (Isa 66:8). This apparently re-started the prophetic countdown that will bring: an end to Gentile domination (Lk  21:24), the rapture of the Church (1Th 4:16-17), the completion of Daniel’s 70th-week (i.e. 7-years of tribulation), and the return of the King (Rev 20:4). In light of this incredible time to be alive, this document provides links to recommended resources that: confirm prophetic research, foster spiritual formation, and equip for greater outreach.
 
Could 2010 really be the year of the Church’s rapture? We report, you decide. Regardless, Christ’s return should be a further spur to our outreach, as we recall His words that the gospel must first be preached to all nations. In the final analysis, the Church’s confidence is not in some Utopian notion of human government, but rather that God will perfect his kingdom. And we look forward with eager anticipation to that day, and to the new heaven and earth in which righteousness will dwell, and God will reign forever. Meanwhile, may we rededicate ourselves to the service of Christ and to the people within our sphere of influence. Therefore, given our faith and resolve, let’s continue to pray, to plan, and to work together to reach our world for Christ.
